Some Dangun Feveron. Seriously out of practice, so I die early on in Stage 2, was making it well through Stage 3, up to the boss before I stopped playing it for a while.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

That tower boss is the worst of all, I remember I lost all my lives on one of his intermediate forms once!
Which weapon are you using by the way?
I did it with the default (rapid).
You beat all stages in one sitting on default settings? With rapid!? That's crazy, I die pretty quickly with the default ship.
I'm using Variable, it's the best ship for normal difficulty IMO. Long reach, strong and it protects you from enemies and bullets coming from the sides and front.
Got the Soldier Collection for PSP. I've always had mixed feelings about the series, since normal arcade mode tends to be deadly dull, while caravan modes are so fleeting. I really enjoyed Blade Buster at the last STGT, though, so I've decided to give caravans a more serious look. Wish there were online hiscores included, but eh, I can live with our hiscore forum.
I'm going to try to 1LC the first loop of DoDonpachi with B-Laser. I've been told that 1LCing DDP puts you in pretty good shape, so I'm going to have at it.

Moral Minus - this game's so good I'm amazed it 's had such little recognition. Also the textures are just like Ikaruga although the gameplay's totally diferent and I was playing that eXceed 2nd demo earlier which had already got me thinking about it. Actually maybe it's time to fire Ikaruga itself up cos that Vampire Rex stuff has taught me to enjoy polarity mechanics...
Hitogata Happa trying to beat the TLB on Nobilmente.
I've gotten to it twice just to fail on the same phase because I can't get to the fight with a decent stock of dolls. I've already cleared Nobilmente with Solo Voyage Fool, but I want to do it with the normal game rules.
Allemande and Doomsday are going to be ridiculously tough going by what I'm seeing on Nobilmente. I've seen a few vids of Doomsday, but I've never seen the full mode played.
Ibara BL
Really enjoying the scoring in this game. I was finally able to get the extend, but not until stage 3.
The hitbox is ridiculously tiny in the game; I want to say it's roughly the same size as futari's or galuda ii's. I've been able to sneak through walls of bullets (also helps the bullets are small too)
The only problem I have is the boss milking (hurrdurr). I like to make boss battles as easy as possible, but in order to get a decent score you need to make the battles really fucking hard.
Strikers 1945 II
I'm terrible at this game. I switched from using the flying pancake to hayate and it's made it a bit easier. Runs are usually ending on the 4Th stage, because I fuck ip on the first stage and don't distribute my bombs well
recently picked up Terra Cresta for the NES… been playing it the last two days and quite enjoying it!
also been playing some Defender 2000 on the Atari Jaguar… many are not pleased with this game, but I quite like it and having fun with it… I'm working on breaking a million right now… I'm currently in the 800k range… hope to hit 1 million+ SOON!!
Just started Dimahoo today and I'm loving it. Made it to Stage 5 boss once I had a sense of what was going on with the treasures and whatnot. Broke 4,000,000 so I'm pretty happy about that. Thank you to those who recommended it for one of my first pcb's.

Space Giraffe (X360) ..................< target: staying alive | current: failing miserably > Darius Burst SP (SP Mode) (iOS) < target: 350mil+ | current: 310mil, Zone H ALL, Legend Zero > (shelved until able to record replay with in-game sound) Gridrunner (iOS) ........................< target: 500k+ | current: 602,002, Grid 57 > (replay just recorded, processing)
Mushihmesama Original 1CC and Sengoku Blade 1ALL. Neither were super challenging (probably spent less than 10 hours each) but still fun. Mushi Maniac looks like a great challenge now, got to st4 on my first couple credits. Mushi is significant for me because its the first "no savestate" and "no credit feeding" clear I've done. Just wanted to see how it felt... certainly impracticable for practicing harder game, but I think I'll continue doing this for easier stuff with uncomplicated scoring. I like how this playstyle gets the adrenaline going and keeps the game fresh longer.
Also, Sengoku Blade seems like the easiest first loop of Psikyo I've played so far.
I'm still playing iOS shmup Shogun. It's pretty rank-manic, so now I'm better at it it's got a lot tougher.
When I was just OK at the game I was getting to 2-4 on occasion, scoring about 70 million. Now I'm better I'm struggling to pass 1-4 (It's a four loop), but scoring about 100 million by then.
I've passed my first goals (first loop clear and hitting 100 million), so now I'm after the 2-ALL. Time to start suiciding!
DoDonPachi Daioujou (White and Black Labels), along with Viper Phase One.
Nickel City, thank you for making me remember Viper Phase One, along with Giga Wing. However, I remember another Shmup where you play as a helicopter... I don't know the name, though.
Also, I usually die at Stage 3 of most Shooting Games.
Ever since it was introduced to me at jonny5's meet, I've been addicted to Guwange. I'm not used to not being able to stock up extends for later on, and the strategies for when to bomb are throwing me off. Can make it to stage 5 with a full life and 4-5 bombs though, but I keep messing up later. Also credit fed to check out final boss, not all that bad aside from the final attack, which makes me want to cry.
Picked up Black Label for Mushi Futari. Love it. Stages are harder, but fuck, some of the bosses can be wasted in seconds, which evens it out a bit. Not so much a totally different game, as I found DDPRBL to be, as much as a rebalanced one. The entire package is certainly the best thing Cave have ever put out on 360, if not full stop, just love every minute I'm spending with it, even while the second half of stage 3 bums me over and over again. Fuck those woodlouse things and their criss-cross pink streams.

Are you using Reco? I find every part of BL to be easier for survival. The pointblank gem shedding makes you do a lot more dumb dangerous shit if you're score attacking though.
1CC ListTo miss is human; to rank control, divine.
Ikaruga on a big tated CRT in my bedroom- intellectually I hate this game but it's so pretty I can't resist! Those black bullets are actually a deep plum colour edged with flaming orange and the white ones have electric blue borders blah blah blah
