Anyone Shop at Amazon?
Anyone Shop at Amazon?
I ask because I heard about a 400$ off coupon code for Photoshop CS5 that was emailed to some users. I'm in the market for a copy for game development, but until I heard about this discount, it was outta my price range =P. So yeah, if you have a coupon code and don't need it, it'd be a big help!

I can sell you my (new, unused) copy of CS3 if that don't pan out
(gotta be a student though)

Re: Anyone Shop at Amazon?
Does being a student in the past count =D?
Edit: Furthermore, I was under the understanding that assets developed on the student version cannot be sold commercially. I will probably use this copy to develop game assets, so the educational version might not work out for me if I'm correct.

Re: Anyone Shop at Amazon?
I just looked on Amazon and with my student Prime discount I can get Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended Student and Teacher Edition for $189, usually $999. Too bad I don't do any graphic design.
EDIT: Regular CS5 I can get for $590

I think you're allowed to sell assets developed on the student editions just fine, you're just not allowed to install it on any computer other than your private PC. This rule might be newly-invented with CS5, though. You should check Adobe's FAQs to be sure.Blackbird wrote:Edit: Furthermore, I was under the understanding that assets developed on the student version cannot be sold commercially.
