you should also post this at MOTK:

you should also let all the ZUN fanboys in Japan know about this as well, somehow(not sure how, post somewhere...), they would go nuts over this!

Finally
It takes a special kind of madness to spend $2600 to play a $15 game. Do not do this.

You're a crazier man than I, bloodf, but much respect for seeing through a difficult project, and good job on a great looking cab. I'd love to have a go on that one day ^_^.
I love the last sentence on that page:

That's a lot of cash, but you get back what you invest in the long term (usually) ^_-bloodflowers wrote:It takes a special kind of madness to spend $2600 to play a $15 game. Do not do this.

Why is it that in this picture:

it looks like the left side of the cab is wooden? In the final pictures it looks plastic? Are you thinking of replicating the cabs design in wood?

Because the cab construction is plywood frame, the plastic stuff all bolts onto it like clothes. I had to remove half of the plastic stuff to get it through the front door!Dave_K. wrote:Why is it that in this picture:

Yes, I was doing quite well - until the heat alarm went off on the PC. It seems I underestimated the heat it would generate and store in there!
The cab is now running without the board bay cover, and I've just placed an order for two very serious capacity 92mm fans. If I put one of these down low on the bay cover (pushing air inwards), and one at the top extracting, it should promote enough airflow. Cabs are noisy things, I've picked 12v 119CFM units, aptly called 'Tornado' case fans.

Yay! I just fucked up by double-posting due to that stupid 'HTTP 500 Internal Server Error' message. Whee.
