I recall seeing a few of the Saint Seiya action figures back in the mid-2000s at my local Target store. It was interesting but passed up on them. The anime series of SS is quite awesome indeed. Haven't had the chance to try out the aforementioned Saint Seiya Senki game yet.

Were those the cheap plastic ones (marketed as Knights of the Zodiac) or the awesome metallic/metal coated painted plastic armor Myth Cloth editions? The Latter were made and distributed in Japan by Bandai to accompany the launch of the Hades Sagas, and were imported to other countries with high number of fans in the series, namely Latin American countries and France. We got them in Mexico thanks to "Distribuidora Toy Vision", which widely distributed them and lasted on the market for about 3-4 years, but to lack of general interest were ultimately removed from major chain stores in the country. Saint Seiya was really popular here in Mexico in the early 90s due to being broadcasted on open TV on a Saturday morning toon block, we even got 2-3 of the movies on the theaters back then, but the Hades Sagas didn´t quite catch on with the newer generations.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:I recall seeing a few of the Saint Seiya action figures back in the mid-2000s at my local Target store. Famitsu gave it an 8/10 if that's anything to go by. If you liked Hokuto Musou you'll probably like Saint Seiya aswell, and especially since you're a huge fan of SS.

i have it and got 100% within 5 days 3 hours here and their per day. the game is awesome but its wayyyy too easy. very awesome fan service. levels are not too great with any sort of objective and not many stage variety at all, just mobs and a boss fight than story sequence., not many mini objectives during missions as i wouldve liked in typical koei games during campaign. the controls are very responsive compared to other dw type of genres. each character specific specials are really well done and some are just lack luster. if your a true fan get it, awesome music and arranged from the series. the lack of content is the only thing bothering me and the difficulty.

So it looks like is a cool game for fans. That is all I needed to know. I am sure that that game is going to have more dlc's other than new characters and costumes. The Asgard saga from the Anime will be really cool just like the Poseidon one. I think also that pal version will probably ha e a higher dificulty level but I will go with the japanese version, BN is going to fuck upArmoredCore wrote:i have it and got 100% within 5 days 3 hours here and their per day. the game is awesome but its wayyyy too easy. very awesome fan service. levels are not too great with any sort of objective and not many stage variety at all, just mobs and a boss fight than story sequence., not many mini objectives during missions as i wouldve liked in typical koei games during campaign. the controls are very responsive compared to other dw type of genres. each character specific specials are really well done and some are just lack luster. if your a true fan get it, awesome music and arranged from the series. the lack of content is the only thing bothering me and the difficulty.
The western version of the game like they have already done with One Pice for 3DS and Tales of Graces.
