I love a good beer in the shower when I'm getting ready to go out for the evening. I normally just rest it on the side or floor where the water does not spray and step out of the stream of water to take sips. :D

What a wicked day it was! Thanks for all coming, thanks to Skykid for his typically amazing generosity, and nice to see Mulletgeezer (all to briefly).

Props to Dan76 and JDE too, for showing us their work in progress game! Great stuff fellas!

It was fun yesterday, shame no one's girlfriends/wives made it in the end, I still have no proof some of you aren't making them up.

This post brought to you by CHI's wifi at CHI's house

Happy New Year, fellas! I was thinking of making a surprise trip down for this New Year's Eve gathering you guys were having, but I couldn't find a hotel cheap and local enough, therefore I'm in Birmingham right now, heading to Air for the Godskitchen New Year's Eve party. Going to get completely blitzed and party the night and morning away.
Shouldn't you lot be planning the next big meet? For this coming Easter, perhaps? (hint hint) :P

I'll be down for that 8)

It was good to meet y'all. Sorry I missed you by 10 mins at the arcade spadgy. I made it down to play Darius on Wednesday and Friday evenings. We should change Wong Kei for Young Chen next time though. The only thing that cuts the grade there is the chicken sweetcorn soup.

PS. The screens downstairs suck BADLY at the moment. I told the engineer, but I doubt he'll do anything about it. Someone needs to talk to John Sturges...

Happy new year guys!

DEL, was lovely to see you again in all your Jonathan Ross glory, and all the other chaps who made it the other day including Nick (how we managed to forget to bring up Silvergun I don't know.)

CHI, thanks for being such a gracious host last night, I had lots of fun (best new years in ages actually.) Really nice to hang out, play shmups, drink alcoholic Ribena and watch Hokuto no Ken all night.

Theo, please post if you made it home alive.

Heya fellows,

Sorry I had to back out of hosting my New Years' party but I'm glad to hear you all had a great time at Chi's. I'm kinda jealous I couldn't make it. :(

It was awesome seeing everybody over the past week. I'm definitely going to try and make more effort catching up with folks at Casino this year.

Not sure yet, possibly around March pending on successful money scavenging, and well before the craziness of the olympics in any case :s

I live right near to the Olympic site (maybe JDE lives even closer). I reckon they're over-hyping the impact it will have on the crowds in London. We'll see. It would be nice to meet you in person though Aliquantic, whenever the visit!

Anyway - after loosing track of reality over the holidays, I've only just realised its 'Casino Tuesday' today. I won't make tonight. How about Wednesday or Thursday? And how about I bring that Outzone PCB this time!

You can find Inti every day at HMV's Gamerbase in the TROC and of course at CEX next door to Goodge before that.
I was down from Weds to Friday last week btw. Darius Burst was good. Shame I don't have the accessibility at the mo.

Had an awesome New Year's Eve party at Chi's castle: super spicy pizza, Muchi Muchi Pork PCB, the gloriously bad Manga Entertainment version of Fist of the North Star (I had forgotten how enjoyable the dub was) and a free lecture on the merits of obscure Japanese horror film directors by a very drunk HZT. Thanks for having us Chi!

It was great to meet DEL and the rest of the extended Casino family on the 30th as well, glad everyone enjoyed the game in its early state too. I'll be down on Thursday evening this week, probably around 6PM.

What kind of games do they have at at the moment? The OP doesn't seem to have been updated since July 2010 so I thought I'd ask what games they have nowadays.

If they still have Mushi it would be great.

It's up to date, it's just that spadgy's edits don't show up because of his mod powers or something.

I won't be down this week because I spent all my money on alcohol and can't afford the train fare back to London till next week. This is actually true!

Zengeku3 - They have Mush and some others but the cabs they are in have the World's worst screens at the moment.
The only cab in good condition is Darius Burst upstairs.

Good to meet JDE, hzt and the rest of the Crew - RupertH, Skykid & Team and BIG CHI of course.

Correction...
Excellent cab: DariusBurst
Good cabs: DeathSmiles, DDP BeeStorm, DDP and Mushihimesama
Ok cabs: DDP DOJ (colours imperfect) and Progear (flickers abit)... both of these are playable...

Bee Storm and DDP have dodgy monitors as well, Bee Storm is way worse than DOJ, it's all green.
