Pretty impressive and supposedly will sell for only $149. Check the video a little bit just before 4:00
Seeing the n64 games, the color and style... Wii U? lol
If you can map the buttons on the right to directional controls instead and the 2 buttons below them for fire/bomb... can play some shmups in tate too (just like on the GP2X F100/F200).

Re: JXD S7100 Android Tablet with tactile controls
Is there an option to change the language to English on the JXD tablet?
I know on the Dingoo A320 handheld, it's possible to have English GUI to navigate around the main menu & sub-menus. But to run anything arcade emulation-wise, it would have to be upgraded to run FBA emulation of course. It runs CPS2 Progear just fine stock with the generic Dingoo CPS2 emulator built in.
Is there an Android version of Mame and how is the emulation on it? Is it powerful enough to run the Cave SH3 game titles like DDP-DOJ, ESPgaluda & Ketsui?

Nice rip. Wonder if Nintendo will change the controller after all.

Yeah there are emulators for "all" the major platforms on android. The MAME emulator on Android is just a port of the usual Mame4All on all the portable platforms so just version 037b.PC Engine Fan X! wrote:Is there an option to change the language to English on the JXD tablet?

I don't think they ported FBA to 'droid but there is a CPS2 emulator.
Once android based gaming devices with tactile controls start taking off, I think we'll see a lot more ports. Also the hardware specs will probably be orders of magnitude higher than what we see in the devices like the Dingoo, Caanoo, Wiz, etc etc due to needing to be able to handle the OS.
Really interesting to see what can be done with a Cortex A9 1Ghz CPU though. Plus it's got 512MB of RAM. Don't need to bother with those swap files.

Looks pretty interesting. Would be nice to see how well it does with PS1 games [probably rather well though, I have had absolutely ancient machines do it], holding my netbook like a giant GBA SP makes me look like an idiot when I'm somewhere I can't sit down. ;3
And especially for $145, that's not too bad.
It would be nice to see a later version of MAME for Android though, something at least past .85, preferably .99 or up...
Also, when I saw the title, I thought that the controls were physical button things... but on the display. That got me excited.

Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.
