No, I can live with it just fine, but the fact that Ketsuipachi wasn't in the original vanilla release of DFK doesn't at all absolve RSG from bringing it over.

Now, if there's finances at stake, that I can certainly understand. Guess we'll just have to keep waiting for them to make an official statement.

What we would have to release, whether it is in a retail box or downloaded via Xbox LIVE, is a standalone game just as it was in Japan. There is no Black Label Arrange-on-its-own DLC that you can 'patch' DoDonPachi Resurrection with.

I'm not aware of any plans to release an equivalent to the Black Label retail box that was released in Japan.

^ which makes perfect sense.

I thought making 1.51 available was pretty sweet. Much more pricey to get that dlc for my jp console.

If you want to play the Black Label Arrange, just buy the game and put it away until a cheap NTSC-J falls in your lap or get a J-Tagged 360. I still have a really hard time understanding how people can't understand that some games just won't be for all regions, just as some games/revisions will remain exclusive to PCB owners. Man up.

Maybe people need to bug CAVE to make BL Retail a GoD release, like they did with DSIIX. But giving RSG a hard time over BL Arrange seems just ridiculous.

Can you please tell us what is going on with the Australian release of this game now that GAME have dropped it?? Is it still coming out here on the 30th?

I also ordered it but I couldn't get Zavvi to work :( Oh well. Looking forward to trying this one out. I just felt compelled because I found out it was region-free today, haha. And not $80 >_>

Will be quite a change of pace from my Twin Hawk and TwinBee as of late ^_^

There was no expectation because they never said they would release Ketchupachi 8)

I'm looking into this.

In the meantime you might like to order from Zavvi, which is selling DoDonPachi Resurrection for £14.95 (plus postage outside UK).

@torisuRSG

Don't listen to the whiners. As expected, your release is identical to the Japanese retail version.
It's awesome and very much appreciated.

Please look into it. Otherwise please don't advertise as "PAL release" and "Europe release" when only the UK actually gets the game.

I don't mean to undermine your efforts here... but there was no problem with Deathsmiles.. why the problem now? Was there not any games reserved for AU or other regions? I just don't quite understand that's all.

In terms of ketsupachi.. I don't know what to say to retards who think it should be coming.. It's part of the Black Label retail JP Disc.. RSG offer BL DLC and that does not include ketsupachi even if you bought the jap DLC of BL. Now.. the fact that Australia is not getting this game.. that's a real fucking issue not a whiney little bitch comment like these "omg no ketsupachi" faggots.

Thanks for letting us Aussies know, torisu.

I'm going to some other local stores to see who might actually have it released tomorrow but I don't have much hope.

This too. It seems that if RSG don't have a straight "Oh we're not sending copies to Australia" answer then whatever the issue was was local to GAME. I wonder what it takes for one to actually find out what the go is with this stuff, whether you have people in high places you can just call or whether you have to go through a specialised customer service or something.

I can see the complaints about Ketsuipachi not being included because it's basically one mode to add to a nearly-complete package plus if memory serves Deathsmiles got more in its PAL package than what Japan got (please correct me if I'm wrong but Black Label was DLC for the Japan disc wasn't it?) which along with the advertisement serves to give some kind of impression. Honestly though, I lost this view as soon as torisu said THE FIRST TIME AROUND that it wasn't getting added.

The game isn't sold exclusively in the UK. A quick look shows it's available on Amazon.de and Amazon.fr, too.

I'm not being an ass mate. I bought the PAL release of Deathsmiles and preordered my copy of DFK here at GAME. It has since been cancelled for release here and there is no notification of wether it will actually come out here or not.

Please don't put me in the same bin as these ketsupachi losers because I just want the game I was promised.. that is all.. DFK 1.5.

Bought it from www.wog.ch , (a nice Shop in Switzerland), Manual is in German... Definitely an european release and not UK only.

Would it kill you to order it overseas and import, and play it this way on your paulstralian box?

Only kills me because I preordered the fucker ages ago.. If I knew I would be playing it right now straight from the motherland UK..

it's just a matter of principle.. you wouldn't understand unless you had you preorder cancelled for reasons you don't even know yet..

Does anybody know whether the European BL DLC would work with an NTSC-J version of the game?

Ketsuipachi was not available as DLC. It was a mode in a standalone game that had two other modes. These two modes were available as DLC for another standalone game.
