I will happily pay 20 dollars for Ketsuipachi. I'd definitely jump on Akai Katana as well...but one step at a time here, I'm excited to finally get my hands on DFK :)

I'd like Ketsuipachi too but I think I'll be so busy with 1.5 and BL on their own that I'll be content :P

Why so much demand for Ketsuipachi? I've heard from people who've actually played it that the scoring is really broken so I'm not losing any sleep over it not being included.

I would say they want the OST then the actual game.

Does anyone know if Resurrection has a training mode like Futari and Futari Black Label? I kinda like that in a port. Just wondering...

...because people want what they can't have, regardless of quality (not implying it's bad). Prove me wrong, if you'd like.

This theory also applies to Japanese-only games in general. Inaccessible content isn't necessarily an undiscovered goldmine. A lot of it is shit.

ketsuipachi does seem like unbalanced crap

I agree, half the stuff on Siliconera is pandering to this shit

Still I do wanna play Ketsuipachi even if its unbalanced

I'd like to play ketsuipachi for the novelty of it, it's an interesting idea. Also as far as scoring being broken I've heard DFKBL is pretty awful in that respect as well.

Haven't you thought that maybe people want ketsuipachi just for the sake of itself? It's just another arrange and they want to have it and play it, nothing more.

This, and this.

I want Ketsuipachi because that way we get what the Japs have.
Americans want this game regionless/NTSC-U compatible because that's what us Europeans will have.
And some Japanese want Akai Katana regionless because they get what us Europeans will have - the same thing as them but in English.

It's not hard to figure out. If you don't want it that's fine but at least grow some braincells and realise why others *do* want it, regardless of whether it's a bonus mode or a game that they can already grab in a different language.

I want ketsuipachi because I love ketsui so a crossover interests me, I'm not good enough at any shmup so if the scoring isn't balanced it doesn't really bother me.

Because it would probably be the closest we'll get to getting Ketsui in Europe :P

What's this that just came through the post at Rising Star's UK office?

Something exciting, that's what!

(Only ten minutes, I know, but I thought this warranted a post of its own!)
