Cave pcb's image upside down... HELP!

Post by radirgyman »

HI all
Can someone pls help me with getting the image the right way up for my cave pcb's.
All my other pcb's are the right way up except for my cave ones.

Thanks.

Is it to do with the orientation of your monitor? Is it an older cabinet you're playing on and which direction does it tate?

Newer cave PCB's don't have screen flip options, which makes it a total pain in the ass if your monitor only rotates in the opposite direction.

This should be posted in hardware btw.

Bummer!
It's an egrett 2.

Theyre fine on my other Egrett 2 but not this one. Can only rotate 90 degrees.

You probably need to flip your yoke connectors on the chassis.

I just tried to unbolt the actual monitor and rotate it to its correct view but not an easy thing to do.

Don't physically flip it, follow kernow's excellent advice instead.

You'd think someone would have developed a JAMMA adapter that would flip the image for you in cases like this...
