Personally I won't ship to Brazil via ebay, because most packages take 30-50 days as there is a major customs hangup for some reason, thus I have been forced to refund at 45 days, only to see the item eventually track there. So that he was willing to ship international is a nice thing really.

Thos DC cases are specific and do have markings, a generic CD case works fine of course, but some folks really want the SEGA specific cases.

Really if you are a collector and want mint/mint, i'd avoid ebay/amazon anyways, stick to the forums where you can get multiple pictures and dialogue if needed.
All true. I didn't even see dude's location, but Brasil, Italy, France, Germany, and a few other countries are really tough to ship stuff into. Hell, I wince if I see an item will ship from Spain.

Nice selection. Prepare to be depressed by Rumbling Hearts. I haven't seen much of the new Birdy the Mighty, but what I have seen was pretty good. School Rumble is hilarious.
These were priced on the cheep. They weren't at the top of my list, but I could not ignore the low, low, loooow prices. So far, I've really liked Ghost Sweeper Mikami and Yu Yu Hakusho. Once I'm done with Mikami, I'll start on Rumbling Hearts 8)

that reminded me i should be getting a gba sp sometime to play my old gb games with a backlight.

yeeeaaaah.....

seriously wth. i expected them to be dirt cheap considering the ds consoles play gba games just fine and the mainstream probably forgot gb/gbc games ever existed in the first place.

For Dave K.,

So what games are playable on the cool VecMulti cart? You'll need a good working Vectrex control panel to play it though. Yeah, I paid through the nose for a new Vectrex control panel setup back in 2000. The Sean Kelly produced Vectrex Multi-Cart 2.0 is cool to play/own as well.

All of them. It has a 2G mini-SD card inside, which can store every vectrex and homebrew game made. Also has a menu system for game selection.

Konami's Gradius III & IV debuts at the Spring 2000 TGS event:

Yep, Konami reps were on hand demo'ing both Gradius III & IV at the April 2000 Tokyo Game Show. Saw some gaijin journalists eager to learn the finer details/points of what this newfangled PS2 shmup port had to offer over their original PCB counterparts. Looked quite sweet of it up & running on a brand new PS2 demo kiosk setup (with one of those slick LCD-based flat panel monitors) at the Spring 2000 TGS indeed.

Checking out the Taito TGS booth a little while afterwards, Taito had their PSX port of Ray Crisis up & running with a single playable stage. Got in line to try it out. Later, asked when it was supposed to available for purchase. Got an answer saying that it'd be available on 4/20/2000 for the Japanese PSX console. Even has a cool mini "Ray Pocket" game to d/l to an optional Pocketstation handheld. For the U.S. PSX release, Working Designs opted to retain the mini RP game as a d/l bonus with their release of Ray Crisis but SCEA opted not to distribute it's Pocketstation handheld stateside (despite a few of NTSC-U region PSX games having built-in Pocketstation support from the get-go including Namco's Ridge Racer Type 4).

Thanks Jockel

I scored this one on ebay for about 20.00$

It is in amazing shape considering its age and especially that its a gameboy, kids usually thrashed these.

I raided a total of nine Exchanges. The Exchange is a hell of a franchise and anyone who likes looking for older uncommon stuff should visit northwestern Ohio, since that's where this stuff was found, for the most part. Streets of Rage 3 complete for $22 was a deal as it's not too marred and it even has an old price tag from when it came into a Record Exchange ages ago before the name change. Crazy how time flies. Typing of the Dead sealed for $10 made me happy too.

Yet, after hitting nine Exchanges and a dedicated classic game store, I still did not find Illbleed. Damn it all, I just what my terrible crazy Halloween season game!

Sci-Fi book lot came from Half Price Books, and boy was I happy with that. $16 for the whole lot of them. Amazon can't even beat that, and these have that awesome oldness to them.

Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

I recently acquired an overclocked and S-Video modded Genesis thanks to Segasonicfan. No pics yet, but the overclock makes many, many games run better. Super Hang-On is now playable, and Granada and TF4 don't slow down nearly as much. Lotus and Formula 1 are also very speedy (and, if you haven't played Domark's F1 yet, this is the best F1 game on Genesis easily). But, the exciting news is that RR2 is now running at a playable speed in 2p mode, which, honestly, is the only fun way to play RR2 imo :)

I dunno if anyone here has seen a Genesis on anything better than composite, but it makes a drastic difference-- much bigger than with other consoles. It gets rid of practically all of that nasty banding unique to the Genesis.

Oh yeah, and it also has an audio mod that gives it clean sound output. Score!

Sega Ages stuff (Treasure Box, Fantasy Zone, Phantasy Star, Monster World IV) with RGB lead looks tidy on a CRT indeed. Some of those games can be played with sprite limit off and overclocked CPU as well.

Haha, I knew it was only a matter of time! I would have, but my only RGB set are my 13" Amiga monitors :( My S-Video CRT on the other hand is enormous and in front of the couch. I still may make a cable.

Those later Sega Ages sets are excellent. I've got Galaxy Force II and Dynamite Deka and they are the highest quality reissues of games I've seen outside of the mid-90s generation.

What do you do when you find an old, broken and yellowed SNES in the basement?
Why, you repair it, mod it and spraypaint it of course!
