Blazing Star
World: SOF-WTN - 74.276.240 - ALL - ARYUSTAILM
West: AST-DGN - 54.518.320 - ALL - DINO 135
You may have a good score with your ship, but the scoreboard only holds the best scores depending on what SHIP is chosen. So therefore, your score is much lower than AST-DGN had, since he uses Dino 135 more than your Windina, in case you didn't see most of the entire 'Blazing Star' scoreboard.luy wrote:My actual score of Blazing star.
Please add in the comment "level 8" for this score, is important, because world score is on level 4. In this game there is a difference in score if you use max difficult.West (Character): Enhasa - 3.071.618 - ALL - Kim - 35 max hit
This is "Thunder Blaster", the Japan version of "Lethal Thunder"? For all three noted scores?Gemant wrote:Thunder Blaster
Thunder Blaster is for HID-CYR and Chrono256 scores, but I don't know if Smraedis play in jap or US romsetDespatche wrote:This is "Thunder Blaster", the Japan version of "Lethal Thunder"? For all three noted scores?Gemant wrote:Thunder Blaster
LUN's score was on Twin Cobra II, but I'll list both versions as I did with other Toaplan titles. I have the Twin Cobra II record as well.Gemant wrote:Kyuukyoku Tiger II

Not exactly. He plays on a MAME cab, and one of the games (I don't remember what it was, probably Cyvern) had significant slowdown on it. The rest of his scores are considered legit, I think it was Shatterhand who vouched for this guy's abilities.RNGmaster wrote:Yup. And wasn't LUY also suspected of cheating for most of the weeks of STGT?
That's fine, but... there are four "o"'s in my handle: moozooh. :DNTSC-J wrote:Re: Touhou scores: I'm leaving them off for the time being but will link to the wiki that lists the records. Moozoh, thanks for going to the trouble of formatting them, but I feel like we should focus on getting a comprehensive East vs West record list for arcade titles before adding console and PC stuff.

10.000.000+a is not counter stop, but "達成" (achievement). In japan not exist a official marathon score, so only the first people that obtain achivement is the top player for a multi loops game. In Tatsujin 11 players have obtained the achievement in january 1989.NTSC-J wrote:Thanks for the corrections, Gemant.
Re: multiple counter-stop listings: I feel like listing all of the players who have counter-stopped Tatsujin, etc. would be kind of pointless, but maybe giving credit to the first one to do it would be appropriate. If such information exists, please let me know.

What the...you mean I've been reading it as moozoh this whole time? I apologize!moozooh wrote:That's fine, but... there are four "o"'s in my handle: moozooh.
I can spell it but I still have no idea how to pronounce it correctlymoozooh wrote:That's fine, but... there are four "o"'s in my handle: moozooh.
That sounds correct to me - with multi-loop counter-stop games, the speed in attaining the achievement is the generally accepted separating criteria.nZero wrote:I thought the holder of counterstop/multi-loop+α record scores wasn't the first guy who reached that score but rather the guy who was able to reach it soonest in the game? i.e. - if the existing record is 10M+α at 3-4 and someone makes the same score at 3-3, then they're the new WR holder. Or does the criteria vary from title to title?
Please change name to "TMS".Daisenpu/Twin Hawk
West (JPN version): TomuS - 1.130.070 - 2-51
In Gamest / Arcadia top score in multi loops games is the first player with 10.000.000+a. If in the next month appear a new player with the same score obtained in less stage, this performance not appear on the magazine.nZero wrote:I thought the holder of counterstop/multi-loop+α record scores wasn't the first guy who reached that score but rather the guy who was able to reach it soonest in the game? i.e. - if the existing record is 10M+α at 3-4 and someone makes the same score at 3-3, then they're the new WR holder. All your games are hard and popular. You gotta play games that are easier and crappier. Some of these Western records seem to be up-for-grabs if anyone wants to feel like a king. I am, after all, champion of such gems as Storm Blade and Fire Barrell.Icarus wrote:The only thing disappointing about this list is the fact that I'm not on it. ;_;
I doubt any of the experts here with a little bit of time would have any problems beating that score.RNGmaster wrote:Icarus has the Crimzon Clover Western record by a mile. He oughtn't complain that he doesn't have any notable achievements.
I think my problem is that I like variety, so I get bored quickly, and jump around games a lot. I only ever play a game to a point, then move on once I'm satisfied I've achieved a decent level of play at it. If I still had the drive to play a game for as long as I did Garegga - 1yr+ on it, and it alone - I'd have probably smashed the likes of Batrider Advanced and Batsugun Special long ago.NTSC-J wrote:All your games are hard and popular. I'd better remove that score from the high score threadGemant wrote:Please add in the comment "level 8" for this score, is important, because world score is on level 4. In this game there is a difference in score if you use max difficult.West (Character): Enhasa - 3.071.618 - ALL - Kim - 35 max hit
