I'm trying to play FZ Senki Axis (a.k.a. Final Zone) on winx68khighspeedv095 (English), but I can't figure out where directional buttons are. I found the menu button and two fire buttons, but without directions I can neither move my mech around nor choose the config option. The emulator sees my joypad as Joystick 1, but I can only skip the intro with one of its buttons. Does somebody familiar with x68k emulation have any idea what should be done in this case? Google wasn't of much help.
The game looks, sounds and - at least while you just stand around - performs way better on x68k than on the MD/Genesis and I expect Granada to be better on x68k too.

Re: Sharp X68000 emulation
If the emulator itself is recognizing your USB pad you should, by all acounts, be golden. Check to make sure that JoyKey and Mouse modes are not on and that Joystick 1 is not swapped with Joystick 2 by accident (options menu checkbox). Failing all this, try out the game in EX68.
I'm having no troubles with Final Zone in Win68k .95. Kinda makes me wish I picked it up when it was on Y!J last. Sorry, I'm not much help here.

Well, good to know how things should be at least. That's one step towards solution.
