ibara kuro and mushi futari BL both had unique boxes that werent reprinted.. well they were regular boxes with a sticker on the lid but still.. no reprints.

As per before, some kits were sold w/ the new boxes. Most likely NOS/refurbs. It's not the easiest kit to complete. That's for sure.

Most definitely not. I've never even seen an original one. Only piece of print from DS MBL I've ever seen either firsthand or in a photo is the very cool flyer.

Whoo, another one bites the dust.
It seems only kit exclusive objects are safe (such as Ketsui's odd flyers and sucker and ESP'II's cab mounted spinner.) Maybe I can update those things in the thread in future.

And after I looked for months to find a lone POP for MMP, here's a full repro set again.

Thanks for the appreciation, glad it's useful. The Espgaluda and Guwange arts are largely identical afaik. The only differences I ever found between originals and reprints when I had both in hand was that reprints were darker on both marquee and POP.
I only verified this with Galuda and Ibara iirc. Honestly though, you'd need to be a real purist to care much.

The only real difference I remember is that the Galuda instruction sheet was the wrong colour in the reprint (should be pink not white.)

I finally got jp B1 poster frames and the B1 arcade poster haven't been reprinted for more than a year ? :\

(I wish Cave would print the AK poster outside of the kits too :p)

After Christmas when they had their 50% off deal on assorted merch we'd never seen before, they posted their after christmas stuff (12/26), which was entirely instruction sets and three artbooks. They had a note on the top that said they would not be filling orders from Dec 27 - January 5 for the New Year holiday, but would resume after that. They were back on immediately after that, but this "closed" message appeared for the first time around 1/10. I'm guessing it's gone for good, or at least for a long time.

Yet I still wonder with the recent announcements Cave has had about games whether this will make a comeback. I wonder how much they made off selling that kind of stuff, and if they ever actually sold an Akai Katana or DFKBL on the international site?

I assume so, whenever i checked they were sold out, but occasionally they had stock only to be sold out again the next day.

Ketsui got reprinted through the ass, afaik it's even more common than Guwange, which is saying something.
