You've pretty much answered your own question. I poked Zengar on this matter a couple days ago, apparently he forgot about that .inp but promised to make one. So as soon as he shows me something that beats Icarus's score I'll be adding his.

Thread updated.

version - name - score - stage - ship
Special - Ratikal - 11,021,590 - 5 - Type B

I like this game so far. I managed to get the Stage 4 tanks after like 2 misses. If I can just get a little more consistent on it, I bet my score could shoot up dramatically.

First credit:

Special - Cowboy-NOA - 57,077,030 - 13 - Type B (Beltiana)

I didn't pay attention at all during the later stages and lost all my lives in horrible ways.

Slow progress, but I don't really have time to play. Next credit will beat Icarus at least.

Get MAME 0.141u1 or later, throw batsugun.zip and batsugunsp.zip in the roms directory, and you should be good to go.

Special - Cowboy-NOA - 81,993,240 - ALL - Type B (Beltiana)

This is the first ALL in a looping game ever for me.
Did a few mistakes here and there, but nothing too bad. I won't go for the counterstop and am happy with the score as it is. :D

Didn't really meant to improve it, but it happened. I missed to trigger the platform trick on stage 14 for a milisecond. Very frustrating, score could've been even higher. 90mill should be possible with my current skills. I have no idea where the other 10mill are supposed to come from.

Special Version - dunpeal2064 - 5,200,970 - Stage 8 - Type C

My first time looping any game. Liking this game a lot.

I can never get the lavender pig on stage 2 though. Not sure exactly where on that island it is.

Edit for a slightly better score

Special Version - dunpeal2064 - 6,655,650 - Stage 8 - Type B

I actually no-missed the first loop.

You know where the amber pigs are in stage 2? The moment they go off screen, use a bomb and move down+left (you HAVE to do this). The pig will appear atop an airport tower.

Damn, I'm not getting it still. I know where it should pop up, as I got it in the loop by chance. How specific is the timing?

You HAVE to be holding down down+left in order for it to work. I'm uploading a video right now that shows what you need to do. Also bumps your score up to 450k. ;)

It has nothing to do with bombing (you can shoot the tower aswell) or holding down+left. You better read the ST again:

Randorama wrote:Pigs are revealed in four points, and are only of the peach-coloured variety.

a)On Stage 2,do right-up,right,right-down macro when destroying the turret on the right side of the island. The pig should appear there.
b)On stage 3,when you destroy the central battery on the main land, and the scroll slows down, do left-down,down,right-down .The pig should appear in the falls.
c)On stage 5, there should be two occasions with the same macro:left-up,left,left-down, when the stage starts and immediately after you destroy the hangar and the tanks in it,on the left:two pigs. Then, after the section with the round tanks, after the first row of tanks,on the first horizontal road,as soon as it scrolls in,destroy the tanks and pigs should appear in their place.

Oh wow, I got my rights and lefts wrong...

Still, if you do it that way, you can leech off the pigs and the moment they go off screen, bomb, do the macro easily, and get to the pig. You will still have 7 bombs by Jupiter so its no big deal to spend them.

It's better to leech the pigs and then just shoot the tower. What's the purpose of using a bomb there? It's not a big deal anyway since it's only 10k loss if you bomb (max bomb surplus bonus), but since it's so damn easy to not use a bomb there, I never thought about using one.

I don't see the point either. I saw it done in the counterstop replay on youtube. He also does it in stage 3 (maybe for the extra damage to get the yellow pigs out faster), so I kind of just follow it. Who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
