A short animation

Post by Skykid »

A good friend of mine entered an animation into a competition for a TV station called E4 (UK). It's only allowed to be 10 seconds long, and the winner basically has their work used on the channel between adverts n' stuff for a year (at zero production cost to the station of course.)

For all the Casino dudes, this is Andrew's work (black dude with the glasses if you're crap with names) and he did the entire thing, including the music, from scratch and 100% on his own.

Just thought he worked so hard on it, it should be shared. That and it's freaking awesome.

I can see it here (USA). Pretty neat for a little TV (telly?) spot made from scratch.

Wow, that's nice. Looks really like a clip of a show from the early 90s too, well done.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

Can't see it here (also in Canada). Odd, that.

Sorry dudes who can't see it, I didn't realise E4 would block certain regions. :(
A proxy might work, otherwise I'll update if he puts it on YT later.

He worked for about 6 months tinkering to create some special filter so that it looks more like old-school cel animation. He's like me, he loves the grain.
