Is there any classic xBox controller converter/adaptor that can be used on the PS3?
Most console to USB Adapters also work on the PS3 (Saturn/Dreamcast), but the xBox (1) to PC Adapters always seem to need special drivers. There is also the possibility to cut the xBox-cable and "make" it USB, but then again drivers are needed.
I guess xBox (1) to PS and an additional PS2 to PS3 adapter would not work either. Any Ideas?

Re: xBox (Classic) to PS3 controller converter?
Original Xbox controllers are actually USB with a proprietary connector, but they're not standard HID like PC gamepads and some third party PS3 controllers. I'm afraid any method to get an Xbox controller working on a PS3 that wouldn't introduce significant processing lag would likely involve hacking (or outright replacing) the PCB in the controller itself.
