Yes, seeing as its a KONAMI game I am not really worried about a PAL release since I am pretty damn confident they will announce it for EU aswell.

Guess I will have to see if I want it enough to get the Japanese release. Pretty much all my 360 import shmups are Cave games. Hmmm. And Strike Witches. Which is a pretty crappy game, but I like the Strike Witches franchise.

Well, Like it's predecessor the only reason to translate it is for speech translation, I mean, it's not like you could have many problems with the menus in this game, which are in enough English as is, or have big pretty pictures to back you up.

I wonder if there's a correlation with the shipping notice and Amazon's push back date. So I checked Best Buy's website and they're telling me it's being released on 9/27/2011. Wal-mart is indicating shipping at November 1st. Gamestop hasn't changed their release date. Target is releasing the game the same day as Gamestop.

Simply put: conflicting release dates. Either it's release this month or November 1st.

I just want this game to come out so I can pick up my preorder, see the Vic Viper T-301 DLC, and then just be inevitably disappointed. Come on Konami, pick up the pace and kill some more of my hopes and dreams.

Strike Witches is a godawful cartoon, but they could've at least included some cinema sequences instead of the lazy hack job they churned out with stills, half-finished backgrounds, and unremarkable/forgettable video game muzak.

All the localization/translation work has been done for a long time. As far as we know, the delays are entirely due to Microsoft rejecting approval for the game, presumably more than once. A Konami rep unofficially revealed this at E3.

Every submission for approval costs the publisher a non-refundable $10,000, so if it gets rejected again that will almost certainly be the last straw.
