A new computer shop has just opened in Paignton about 4 miles from where I live and in the window this evening was an old PIII on it's side with a flatscreen monitor running Moon Cresta.
The shop was shut but when it's open I'll have to go in and ask eh?

We had Moon Cresta in Casino arcade a couple of years back. Its also one of the first shoot'em ups I came across. A tabletop...I seem to remember...

Re: Unexpected Moon Cresta Sighting
Well I went into the computer shop today and asked about the Moon Cresta setup. Turns out both the guys who run the shop are fans of MAME and want to set up a cab in the store.
They said they couldn't get MAME to run at full speed on Windows 7 or XP, I told them I was using 0.143 on XP with no problems and one of the guys said he didn't use it cos it wouldn't play his bootleg roms and also that he'd written his own frontend instead of MAMEUI for the same reasons.
We left it at that but I'm a bit intrigued and might harangue them further eh?
