Question about some of the collection packs for the PS1 SAT

Post by evil_ash_xero »

I've noticed lately, playing around with my Treasure Box and Monster World collections, that there is some SLIGHT lag, compared to the carts.

My question is, are the Capcom Generations, Konami packs(Twinbee specifically), and Thunderforce Gold Packs emulations or ports? I know that they took all the slowdown and flicker out of Thunderforce IV, so i'm guessing it may be a port. Hell, I don't know. What do you guys know about it?

I doubt Saturn or PSX have what it takes to emulate 16-bit consoles and some of those coin-op machines at full speed (just like PS3 can't emulate PS2).
That said, ports may have input lag different from the real thing as well.

I guess it does kind of pay to stick with the originals.
