The new ESP Ra.De. high score thread is available here.

One of the most loved Cave games, featuring the gorgeous Joker Jun's artworks and a nice and funny gameplay! Let's post scores in this format:

Name score stage Character

1. Randorama 5'601'330 4 Jb the 5th

Easy, isn't it? A guide to the characters:

YUSUKE - The oldest of the trio, dressed in a pseudo-basket suit (right)

IRORI - The young and petite lady, barely a teenager (centre)

JB5TH - A misterious guy with a dark past (left)

So, let's start again the quest to save Tokio! I won't limit the chart,place-wise, for the moment...

Chomsky, Buckminster Fuller, Yunus and Glass would have played Battle Garegga, for sure.

6,294,700 - Stage 4 - Irori

I had a 7+ million score at Stage 5 as my best long ago. This was what I was able to crank out tonight. I need to get back on this one.

Stage 6? Wow. :D

Anyway, I think I may make this my next shmup to really focus on. I love it, and it seems to only get better with time. Also, the scoring is a lot more forgiving than games like DDP.

Tomtom - 4,952,490 - Yusuke - 4

I had a score of about a million higher than this before, I'm sure I'll be back up before long.

The only shmup I'm not too embarrassed at putting my score up. How come my score at this game compares to some of you guys, but I can't put a cho ren sha score up because everyone else can finish the game and I can't pass the first loop?!

OK, back up to where I was before...

Tomtom - 5,748,520 - 4 - Yusuke

How do you trigger the 1up in Stage 4? I've gotten it before, but it didn't appear this time.

Near the beginning of the stage when you're above the trains, try to hover over the train on the right (the one moving really fast). The 1up should be at the end of it. I don't know if there's anything special you have to do to trigger it, but it's usually there for me.

yeah, 6, actually the fifth stage is split in two parts, but it doesn't really matter.Final boss is a stage in itself, since it has 6 forms

At first I was sure that Espgaluda was the better choice, but the more I play both the decision gets harder to make; which one is better?

Just not sure I like the way to score high points in this game, seems rather dull.

Woohoo~ my first post ever in the high scores thread...

Just got back from my school's arcade.

Character: Yusuke
Stage reached: 4 (got nailed by the first large ship)
Score: 5,753,770

iatneH - 5,753,770 - Stage 4 - Yusuke

edit: Oooooh the 1-up in Stage 4... I didn't pick it up on that run... for some reason I always thought it was on the train on the LEFT, so I try to hover over every single car on it that appears but I never got it :(
So now I guess I'll have a better score for tomorrow :D
