so it's a really different game  I read here and there it was the same game with revised colors in the graphics, so that was false ?

yes, there are only some small differences in the graphics/music but the gameplay is completely different.

check my videos on the previous page.

Mmm.. seriously?
I have Sweden on my "holiday trips to do" list... Maybe a good arcade with some shmup dedicated candys could be the extra motivation to finally go for it :P

no heron city, its a freshly opened arcade called "supermotaros" which is a gameshop/cafe/arcade.

its located on Hantverkaregatan 90 which is walking distance from the city center.

here are some pics from when they were freshly opened.

entrance from the street, no signs yet.

Wow a proper arcade in Sweden, I now wish I lived in Stockholm my little Norrköping is so neglected.
With all those defunct factories you would think this place would be heaven when it comes to good locales but apparently not.
Id be a idiot not to assume that they are the guys behind this aswell http://supermotaro.se/shop/

right?

I've just been there some hours ago (HEY arcade) and it's still there, 2 cabinets actually.
I have aplayed a couple of credits. Some English-speaking guy told me the game was easier starting on the second-player, since I would get auto-bomb. I tried that but unfortunately it didn't work :(

Hey! thank you to everyone who helped me with this.. i've had a blast playing this beast. Loved the maniac and original max modes (did not have the guts to try ultra  )
Amano, i think what that guy meant is that you have auto-bomb if you choose the "max power" option at the start of the game:
Image
It's the option on the right, for every type of shot

If anyone is interested... besides from HEY, i saw this cabinet running at Shinjuku Taito Station (thanks Animaitor  ) and Osaka's Namba Taito Station.

Good to know you enjoyed the game Dronevil, so jealous. By the way, NTSC-J is the one who told me about the locations for the game :) TRY Amusement Tower also has it.

I didn't even know there was a hi-score thread!

Anyway.. only did 5 or 6 runs on max maniac so i hardly knew what i was doing in regard to scoring. I remember my best was something around 500mill ending in stage 4.
But no pics, no exact score.... no chance of playing it anymore..

Can you post a run down of the scoring system Sven? I have this but haven't played it much as I feel like I'm missing something.

maniac & ultra: tapa-tapa-tapa

you build hit counter by hitting enemies with the option lasers, then you add that counter to your overall counter by pressing the A button.
the longer you can keep enemies alive and keep hitting them with your lasers while tapping the A button the bigger your counter gets.

basically try to hit big enemies with your options only and only hit them with your mainshot at the point of destruction.

the easiest place to see this in effect is the first big blue bug after the 2nd midboss (the one that cancels out shots when destroyed), if you just concentrate fire on it it will give less than 10000 hits to your counter.
if you place yourself at the bottom of the screen and slowly tap A (just enough to keep your lasers going) your counter will rise 20-40000hits.
if you position yourself high up on the screen so only your options hit it in the face while you blast the popcorn bugs coming from the top-left you can see ~100000hit increase if all goes well

once you get to grasp with how it works it becomes INCREDIBLY addictive, right now im dying to find out what happens when you get your counter over 999999hits, if it counterstops like "blue label" or if it keeps going, ive managed to get 890K hits on stage 2 as a personal best... also when playing this way everything stays alive for a long time and is able to fire towards you, by the 3rd stage the screen really starts to clutter up even in maniac mode.

as for original mode, it works just like futari BL's original mode.
