So i-in the end t-there was a reason behind the complete lack of online translations...
Nobody would ever dare to do so!!!
Well, at least it's better than Nemesis/Gradius story (HERE) for the GameBoy...

I would bet money that Faust is responsible for this.RNGmaster wrote:The world has a new Bridget. Rejoice!

Good, I'm not the only one.Deca wrote:I still have issues with MMP stage 2 boss :/ Makes me feel like a chump every time. I should probably sit down and focus on that game more.
Are you playing 1.0 or 1.01? 1.0 is stricter with the lard meter, but should still be very doable if you play it safe and dont milk bosses. I would say that 1.0 is maybe slightly harder than Mushi Futari 1.5 to clear, with 1.01 being a bit easier than Futari.DrTrouserPlank wrote:So how to do people rate MMP in terms of difficulty?
Let's just talk about first loop, playing for survival. No clever rank management (ie: a new player trying to score by killing everything and collecting lard when it won't get them killed)
Seems fairly hard to me. Credit fed to the later stages and then sat in the corner and cried for a bit.
I'm pretty bad at mmp, but I can still extend on stage 2 without any boss milking.DrTrouserPlank wrote:I'm playing 1.01 but I think I must be playing a different game to other people.
I think futari 1.5 is pretty ridiculous but MMP is something else. Some of the stuff I saw at the end of the game was categorically unavoidable (unless by scoring you end up with about 30 bombs to use or something).
As for the scoring.... 6.5 million when I die on stage 3
I don't understand how it works.dunpeal2064 wrote:I'm pretty bad at mmp, but I can still extend on stage 2 without any boss milking.DrTrouserPlank wrote:I'm playing 1.01 but I think I must be playing a different game to other people.

just get those snouts up to max by stage 1 boss, and score heavy on stage 2. The water towers are perfectly spaced so you always have lard to use
I'm usually at max power by end of stage 1, although every now and then, if I haven't died/suicided, I might only be at the 2nd power up.DrTrouserPlank wrote:Has anyone got some suggestions for appropriate power-up levels to use for each stage during practice mode? By which I mean levels which are comparable to where you'd be on a normal playthrough.
Thats the best partDrTrouserPlank wrote:I definitely think this is much much harder than futari 1.5, and even harder than galuda 2.
I don't know too much on that, but I think I recall Dave K. mentioning that using the rose cracker might actually decrease your rank.Jeneki wrote:I was travelling with my 360 last weekend and tossed this in for a bit. At home I use a rotated TV for 3:4, so this was the first time I've played it on a regular unrotated HDTV.
OMG these games have rank bars! I never know those existed. lol
... So, anyone know how to quickly crank up the rank in Pink Sweets Arrange? Using the Rose Cracker a ton doesn't seem to have the same effect as in arcade mode, nor does collecting lots of items.
