Hey, I'm really interested in that question.
My associations if I wouldn't live here would be something like Hitler's birthplace, Josef Fritzl the world famous sex-monster, the country were a right wing neo-nazi party is widely socially accepted, and so on...
To be honest, the first thing I thought of when I read Austria was Arnold Schwarzenegger...

A: Nope. Al Gore, Milla Jovovich, Steve Buscemi, and Kate Moss are probably the most famous ones I've met. The latter two I met in private settings, where they were not especially styled up or anything. However, in all cases I was really surprised that they look exactly the way they look in the media.

I liked my last question, so here I go again:

Sven666, Emphatic, DMC, Lowemark, Kennyman666 and Charlieton fits their online persona perfect. I've met Robert Garcia, Runefaust, Plasmo and a few other germans as well, but I didn't spend enough time with them to really get any good expression. Boring answer, but thats the way it is.

I eat meat, although only about twice a week on average.

I would definitely try dog meat (wanted to when I was in Korea, but my Korean friend loves dogs, so he refused to show me the restaurants serving it ;) ). I would probably try cat too, but I'm not convinced it's actually possible to make legitimately tasty dishes out of it.

I'd be willing to try the casu marzu mentioned above (it actually looks tasty), but that balut is just fucking disgusting.

You didn't post a question so I am rolling with the current topic. I had to search balut, and found this horror; http://www.cracked.com/article_14979_th ... world.html. Sad part is, I would eat most of it willingly.. Casu Marzu is pure hell, no.. NO. Lutefisk, yes please, but I'm only trying a bite or two. Balut, no problem. It's chicken. Okay, duck. But, I really like chicken, and eggs. It looks like food to me.

Lutefisk is nowhere near a disgusting as the other dishes. Sure, It's sounds weird when they describe it, but the taste is quite bland. If you want disgusting scandivian fish, try this:

Fermented herring served in tin cans. The real connoisseurs only pick the cans that are bulging outwards from the gases inside.

I don't see anybody else wearing jeans; elves are above fashion, and all humans are more leather types.

Not exactly, but just about.

I used to live on Tokyo's Chuo line which has become infamous for its "chuocides." People jumping in front of trains is fairly common in Japan (or at least Tokyo) and this line seems to be the preferred choice. Nearly everyday I ride the train I can see a little blurb on the monitor saying that a train somewhere was delayed due to a 人身事故 (these aren't always suicides, but they often are).

Anyways, a buddy and I were on the Chuo heading to do some nerdy shit when we find out that we just hit someone. My Japanese was even crustier then than it is now, so some kindly old lady told us in English (with a big smile on her face) "someone has been caught under the train." We got out of the train car (it was our stop anyways) and checked it out, just in time to see them covering up the mangled remains of some poor guy. I saw them trying to gather what was left of his skull and hide it under the tarp, then they carted him off.

Needless to say, it ruined lunch.

A: It depends on the wisdom of 30 years' worth of future political leaders, and of course on wars. And also on what happens to China.

Q:30 years ago, the world was a better place. What has degraded in the worst and saddest way?
My answer: the Internet, and computers in general. Technology used to be useful, while things like Facebook and the iPhone are just time wasters.

A to CIT's question: Japan. It's not really debatable.
A to yours: No it wasn't. Look around, the world is more peaceful now (there are in fact less people dying in wars, which includes ethnic cleansing and other bullshit), and while still not perfect, it's a far fairer place now for non-white people. If you need something that has degraded, I would say attention to detail in media, but you can get lots of rants about that in the Anime thread.

Q: What are the names of all of the pets you`ve owned?

For me it was (in chronological order, bless their souls) Toto, Puffy, Honey, Pepto Bismol, Spam, Fuzz, and Obi, who remains arguably the greatest dog of all time.

A: A pair of panties, like a pair of trousers, requires the correct insertion of two separate legs. A bra, on the other hand, is simply tied in a single place; correct positioning of two boobs is quite trivial.

If that's the case, then why is it called a pair of glasses?

(I'll leave the underwear question to someone else)

A: I'm old fashioned so enjoy wearing anything that's completely impractical as an undergarment, especially crotchless panties, garterbelts and stockings, and shelf brassieres. Wait! I meant I like for my wife to wear these things during happyfunsexytime. My wife. Me, I only wear plain white boxer shorts and a size-too-small white undershirt that lets my potbelly play peekaboo.

A: Depends on the reason said furry likes it. A Furry might like the show itself but not as part of said fetish. or they might like it because of the fetish. or it might be a mix of both. This is just outside analysis since i'm no furry though.

Q: Is it stupid in your opinion to regard a sexual fetish or preference as more than a fetish/preference?
It's about "realizing their actuality." And judging by the look on Jane's face, she's realized it a couple of times already.

a couple.
one was very considerate of my dislike of furry artwork and materials and did not make a big deal of the fact he was a furry at all. As a result I was quite happy to respect the fact that he liked furry since he did nothing to force either his preference or materials relating to his preference upon me. and then there was the one that lived up to the stereotype "attention whore" furry who made sure that everyone saw the fact he liked seeing drawn animal cocks. it meant i saw a lot of material that i could only tolerate because:
1 - I didn't want to be a dick and cause more drama than the situation already creates
2 - Because 4chan sort of helps condition you to be less sensitive towards any sort of material that disgusts you (furry included in my case)

A: I do own a PSP and I'm loving every second of it. It's a great console for nostalgic games, and Gradius, Parodius, Salamander and Star Soldier collections prove this. Darius Burst and Zero Cho Aniki didn't hurt either

Q: Which game will you take to a desert island?
In an alternate universal, Soldier Blade II has already been crafted by Hudson Soft and Compile with proper tate this time around (c) PC Engine Fan X!
Sega tried and failed. Nintendo didn't even try. (c) Specineff
