Lol, so am I. Guess I'll have to wait until the UK has ownership of him again before I get to find out. :)
Sounds like you guys had an awesome day though.

We're going to start off with The Ninja Warriors if no ones mind as GP has been dying to give it a go and it requires all 3 monitors. We can also put in Darius EX if anyone wants to have a go at that since it's the same harness.

Shou: Do you have an xbox and/or Akai Katana? I would love for someone to show me how to play this damn game.. :(
..And that leads to the next question: Has anyone sufficiently figured this game out?

Got busy last night with modding/repairing a bunch of stuff so didn't have a chance to rotate the monitor and setup NW. It's probably a 15 min job tops so whoever arrives first, please help me! :D

Do have these ready to go now in addition the last list:
Crime Fighters JP
Donkey Kong JP or Donkey Kong II
Gauntlet Legends JP
Gauntlet Dark Legacy JP
Rastan Saga II JP
Salamander in mono only, need to get some parts to jumper the stereo correctly
Silent Dragon JP

These are out of action:
Crystal Castles - the trackball doesn't behave totally correctly...
Flying Dragon Fist - in the middle of battery less mod
Karnov - won't boot
Sailor Moon - in the middle of repairing it

You guys were useless at addressing the Ustream, I was trying to get your attention and you just thought it was a bunch of Japanese guys shouting random English words. :)

Good to eavesdrop for a while. Gaijinpunch looked real fetching in his skin tight purple vest and played a relatively good first level of Ninja Warriors. Darius 3 screen is so awesome too, although when I played it in Mikado I got owned on it.

I really wanted Shou to give me a virtual tour of his collection, sounds like you have some very interesting tidbits there (and is that a Virtual Boy flash cart?! I want one.)

Anyway, it was nice to listen in while I did some work this afternoon. Sounds like gamers all over the world speak a universal language, lol.

Thanks for coming out everyone! Great to see old faces and meet new ones. Apologies for not getting much gaming on as we were so busy chatting with each other.

Skykid, I can you give a virtual tour now! If you look at the social stream, it was all Japanese guys commenting (some hilarious stuff at that)

Cheers everyone - was really cool meeting up again and we should definitely do it regularly.

I think my retinas are still tripping from Tempest 3000 (blink blink blink)

(it took 2hrs 15 to walk home btw ;) )

Ah you're off air. :(

Oh well, maybe another time. I was kinda surprised you didn't notice me in the comments, I was the only English speaker there, lol.

I heard some JapJac talk that was quite amusing, and also Chi's 'curfew', ha ha! I told you not to check into a place with a flipping curfew man, that sucks. I'd ditch it and find a local Ryokan - I didn't find Tokyo hostels and small hotels often had curfews so I think you're unlucky there dude.

There are 2 different chat screens: social stream and chat. The Japanese tend to use the former which is what the window was on. I didn't see your messages until much later unfortunately!

I got a 1080p web cam this weekend so future broadcasts will be cleaner.

there was some chat regarding a trip to Mikado, doubt they'd let us set up a netbook with cams ... or would they? :)

That would be interesting - or a Try Tower broadcast

You'll need a pocket wi-fi for that, which I don't have!

Try would be fine with it if I tell them ahead of time. They broadcast themselves whenever they do tourneys.

I have family visiting in mid October and may need to go out of town for the rest of the month so Sept is better for me if we end up at my place.

Also, as last meet's participants know, I need to redo the room so PCBs are going to be moving out of the house soon-ish but the room is in shambles right now so can't do anything over the next week or 2.

rancor,

Don't worry, I'm going to start including small device trackers in each of my games. :D

let's do it in at a neutral outside location :)

I enjoyed the last late night Aki stint - TGS season is approaching and my few diary slots are filling up for sept for people from out of town :/

plus a few people are leaving work so need to attend some parties (Shou: YY!!! :O )
