How many versions of this game are they going to release? I didn't think much of it.

Blech, I really dislike the Espgaluda soundtracks, and I really like the Manabu Namiki/Masaharu Iwata soundtrack. I can't bash it until I've heard it though.

This sounds cool though, and it would be pretty awesome as an Xbox Live Arcade game.

Changing the soundtrack seems unnecessary, the original soundtrack is phenomenal.

Someone here better buy this thing so that it can be dumped in due time. ;)

First things first, they should release Demul 0.5.7 for the general public.
Goddamn it.

Couldn't agree more, the OST was the best thing about this game. I'd like to see a different score system, though, and I wouldn't mind if they redid the boss patterns; those two things made me lose interest in Mushihimesama pretty quickly.

While I agree, just look at how much better the DDP-DFK BL soundtrack is than the original. I don't think they'll substitute it "just because they can". But I have been wrong many, many times.

Hi, my name's Mr Cave and I'm here to empty your bank account in an obscene cash milking exercise.

They should change their name to RAPE.

To clarify - Umemoto only did Espgaluda II Black Label's arrange music. He's not the original composer of the Galuda 2 soundtrack and he had no involvement with Galuda 1 whatsoever.

He also does the various background music for the 360 games' menus.

Awesome. I love the ESPGALUDA II BL music. Not a fan at all of the original ESPGALUDA II soundtrack. Akai Katana has great music as well, so let's hope this is just a beefed up arrange of the original tracks like in ESPGALUDA II BL.

God damn, that's a nice pcb box! I'm also completely shocked by this news, who would have guessed they were working on this?!
The new soundtrack will probably be amazing if it is a remix of original.

I can see it now, Mushi 1.5 Black Label on 360 - retail version of this with exclusive BL mode! Please make it so

Im not getting my hopes up about it, but my wet dream would be for Cave to release this as a region free boxed set with the original version included thats a perfect port unlike the ps2 version.

BTW I wonder just how tough the last boss will be, the original was no push over. It looks like its Larsa's turn to step down as YTs Hardest Boss Ever
God damn, that's a nice pcb box!

Am i right in that this is the first time Cave has used printed cardboard rather then plain brown?

At least this is a genuine new PCB, as opposed to a 360 game in a cardboard box ..

exactly.. futari is my favorite cave game but come the fuck on.. $2000 USD (lazy rounding)? its bullshit. CAVE prices are already inflated enough, but this isn't some ancient game thats been long "out of print". how is that price tag justified?

take a second to think about how much it costs to produce that board... especially considering its just a tweak I would say. proabably equivalent in terms of gameplay to a $10 download. there will always be somebody out there willing to pay out the ass for some collectible, but this is ridiculous.

and yes, Im bitter about pcb prices in general. DDP at $450 can go take a hike. Ill play it on my cab with an emulator and barely notice the difference.

As I posted on Cave-stg, to me this appears to be Cave clearing out their remaining SH3 PCB stock with tweaked versions of games. I expect we may see a few more of these until stock is depleted, but perhaps no more original SH3 based games ever.

Those guys sure know how to squeeze every penny out of their resources, but as a business you can't really blame them if suckers are willing to empty their bank accounts for them.

Or if arcades are willing to pick them up and hope to make a profit off them.

Unless this is another "Forced free play home version yet still full priced" bullshit PCB.
