Your biggest final boss moments (was biggest TLB moments)

I recall once playing Raiden Fighters Jet, I had just beaten the huge annoying tank when a fairy came out of it. I was like, "Hey, a fairy! Sweet!" for a moment, then I was like, "Wait, don't only mid-bosses drop fairies? Oh, well fu-"

At that point it was basically "Welcome to a new world of hurt". I've always wanted to no-miss both of them, but I haven't totally done that yet. Mostly because of the tank's godawful slow-bullet-spiral-with-loads-of-aimed-destructible-bullets-meaning-you-can't-just-go-around attack. There's got to be an easier way to do it, but I haven't figured out how.

Tonight was the first night that I saw a TLB. Came nowhere close to beating it but I made it to it. DDPDFKBL 360. I was out of lives and bombs when I beat lvl5 boss. I thought I was done but it lasered the ship down and I thought "wow, this is new" and boom, another boss.

Before I had cleared Mushi Maniac, I got to the stage 5 boss with no lives/bombs left and BEASTED it, but died with like 2 pixels left on the health bar.

Basically did this irl.

Heh, I didn't even realize that was a triggered boss. Do I have to meet those requirement during the Highway stage, or can it be any stage?

It's best to avoid Envy.

When I first killed the huge plane in Flying Shark (in 1987, mind), closely followed by clearing ESPGALUDA. Those tanks on the beach in Flying Shark got me though, so I had to beat that huge plane again. Checkpoints are silly.

Since I've been posting about it anyway, my biggest last boss moment was when I managed to kill Discharge in APB Advanced. I had the full flushed face, shaking hands, hyper-super-zoned-in thing going. No other genre produces that effect for me....

Felt amazing playing Ikaruga with Keyboard on NullDc

Also the same on Radiant Silvergun!!! great feeling with the story xD and playing with Keyboard.
