Yeah, that is pretty fun. I like how it makes a few tweaks to the Raiden formula and has the ship fast enough to actually dodge bullets, or even buzz around helicopters if so willing.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Ok, well at any rate, that is the coolest PC shmup I've played since Robobombo! That was pretty much the only shmup I played while I was in college-I used it for study breaks during some long papers in the computer lab!
But now you have to pay to play it, which is just lame.

Wow, this is a very well done fangame. It's an excellent tribute to Raiden II, and I do like the unique bombs for each weapon. The graphics are pretty cool too, almost done in Super Mario World 2 style.
The makers even used my MIDI sequence of Raiden Densetsu's "Fighting Thunder" for the cutscene between Stages 5 and 6 when blasting off into space.
Overall, this is a well-done fangame. Great find!

The age of Alluro and JudgeSpear is over.
15 ships on normal difficulty? I enjoyed playing one loop, but there was no challenge to it. What the game showed very clearly, however, is why rank was invented in the first place: this flash game has no rank, and as a result it´s ridiculously easy when you´re fully powered up, but killing bosses takes forever when you´re not. Rank like it is present in the original Raiden games would have remedied that problem.
I finally tried this... yeah, I was wondering why the bosses seemed to go down really easily... after a few crap starts, I got fully powered up and have SLC'ed perfectly to stage 3 already
Well, at least that's a confidence booster of sorts
Edit: Spoke too soon... bit it on Stage 5. Oh, well
