Meteos is a superb game, to be sure, however, I prefer Lumines. Your preference to Meteos is okay too. I just felt that calling Lumines 'easier' considering that you had hardly played it was not a qualified statement.
Also, many people may have maxed Lumines, considering how long it's been out that's not a surprise, but I assure you, it is not easy.
Anyway, buy a PSP and give Lumines some more time.
