Please post scores for this game in the new high score thread. Thanks!

This is the high score thread for the MSX/SMS game Aleste, which is called Power Strike on the SMS in the US and Europe.

Please give scores in this format:
Name - score - level - platform

Obviously, all defaults.

If this is available on a platform other than the MSX and SMS, then let
me know and I shall add it. Anyways, on we go!

I just got the game tonight, I had it as a kid, but I doubt I ever did as well as I did tonight.

I died in level 4. After that I struggled through most of level 5... but was obliterated shortly thereafter.

I'm hoping to snag a 1CC soon though. Seems like a fairly easy (albeit LONG) game.

Glad to see some competition showing up here.

I gave it another go last night, so here's me new score:

I was thinking about adding another table for high scores gotten from hitting continue after you beat the game since its Stage 0 and 6. 'Twould be pretty challenging. Any of you interested?

Keep at it man. You'll get it!

Just make sure to try to keep weapon 1 and level it up from the get-go. Once powered up three times it cancels bullets. And it doesn't have a timer!

I mean, you CAN survive without keeping it, but its a lot easier if you just stick to weapon 1.

Gave another go tonight and used weapon 1 and had noticeable improvement. Got hit with a disk from behind and well it was a mess after that. Anyways me score:

I going to spend more time with it this week. I may possibly finish the game with some more playing time with the new stratagy. We shall see. Thanks jp for the tip!

You'll get it in no time man! You just need that one good run!

And remember, if you die in the last level (level 6), its not over!!!! For my first 1CC of Power Strike I just hung there... and I came out on top! So even if you die in level 6, keep in mind you have something like 20 lives.
