For tating, turn it off and unplug it in normal orientation; leave it for 10 minutes.
Tate the monitor and leave it for 10 minutes; then plug it in and turn it on. Picture should be fine. The waiting time is optional, see what works for you.

As for the buzzing, does it do it all the time? Or just when its warming up? If its all the time its probably the flyback dying, sadly. :|

Perhaps anything further should be through PM, this isn't even in the hardware sub-forum and we are taking this thread quite a bit OT.

Years ago I had a monitor that had a terrible buzzing sound and I took it in to be repaired. The technician told me it was a "grounding" issue and was fairly simple and cheap to fix.. So you might want to check into that as well. I'm sure others can elaborate more.

Hope you got that one cheap. They always seem to be for sale. Welcome to the darkside of owning pinballs. I've only played it a few times out in Vegas at the Pinball Hall of Fame, better than what I was expecting honestly.

Yeah, it's quite fun, it definitely has a bit different feel than most tables, but I think it fits the theme well.

S&W .500 Magnum.

The sheer size of the revolver can be understood by the picture of it sitting next to my Charter Arms .44 Special. The cartridges are from left to right .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .44 Russian, .45 ACP, .500 Magnum.

I actually do plan to hunt Bear with this gun unlike most people who buy them. Though I won't deny it's a lot of fun at the range. I'm glad I have the capability of reloading rounds as it is not cheap to shoot buying ammo. I have a deal worked out with a local tire place to get big chunks of lead to melt down for bullets as well.

It's Fun table, I had a chance to play it at the pinball hall of fame.
How much space do you have in that room? Looks a little cramped...

Wow, that's a beast. I had the pleasure of shooting a Barrett 50 cal at a range back home a few years ago. These young military bucks were out their shooting and after we had watched them for a while they offered to let us have a go. To my surprise, it kicked no more than a shotgun would. This is do to the muzzle breaker which channels air back toward you as the bullet exits the barrel. The force of the air acts to counter most of the kick. Without that, you could kiss your shoulder goodbye :D

I would think you would want to purchase jacketed slugs and just re-use the shells? I thought people only melted their own shot for muzzle loaders

It's definitely not a large room, 10x11, which houses the pinball, a couple shelves with systems and games, my 27" Trinitron, a 19" tated CRT W-G monitor (I've wanted to build a case of some kind for this, but I just leave it open for now), and my Astro City. I think I've filled all the usable space, I would have more wall space if an entire side wasn't taken up by a baseboard heater. You can still get around in the room just fine though, couldn't have a bunch of people in there at once though.

I've got about 120 jacketed rounds, mostly hot ones by Cor Bon. They're pretty pricey and come 20 a box. By forming our own bullets from leftover lead from a local tire place we can get the cost of each round to about 7 cents as opposed to $4 or so which is ideal. I had considered getting cheap .50 BMG bullets to use but I'm afraid they'll tear up my barrel lol.

they feel the same about people. That's a small one, but they have been known to pull people out of the windows.

How does it feel compared to a .44 mag?

Despite much hotter ballistics the hogue grips and ported barrel make the snap back on that gun much less than I expected. It actually recoils less than my friend's .44 Mag Super Blackhawk.

Ah yes it is a much heavier gun. Compared to my .454 Casull tehre is a notable difference, I believe the .500 weighs in at about 3.5 pounds.
