Yes, merry Christmas to all the Casino Crew! I'm really glad everyone is pumped for M. Futari as well, it can stay in the arcade as long as people still want to play it.

Thanks for the loan to Casino JDE. Think I'll be down more often for a while.

Anyone know if Casino is open this week?

Chi, wishing you a safe flight today buddy, enjoy your time in Miami you lucky sod! :o

I didn't catch either you or JDE on Xmas eve, I got to Casino just after 5pm, but my mobile died during the last minute shopping spree. Hope to see you both again soon (Chi, in a little while eh?)

It should be open all of this week apart from New Year's Day. Not sure if they do business on bank holidays though.

And sorry for missing you on Christmas Eve CHI and Skykid, my last minute present buying took ages and I arrived really late. That'll teach me not to prepare in advance!

I'm back in the big smoke from New Year onwards. I'm itching to get down and play Futari and DOJ (I finally hit 16m in Progear so I can put that behind me!).

Who's down when?

You definitely need to come down and experience DOJ with the weird tall stick and the new invisible bullets on stage 3, it makes it even more... fun.

I'm back next week and I'll be in every day probably, I haven't played anything since before Christmas and I can't wait to get into Futari.

Had a good laugh on Futari the other day, though didn't even get to 100million on original. My max score is double that, gah. Was pretty drunk though. Need to get back on form for the shmup meet! :O

If by 'new' cab you mean the ancient one with buggered screen that practically disappears on any vibrantly coloured backgrounds, then yes. Invisible DOJ bullets ftw!

See you at the end of the month spadgy. I should be down from the afternoon of the 29th onwards.

EDIT:- What's the deal with Game Focus at the moment? Do they still not have any Jap X360 consoles?
I don't see a single X360 shoot'em up on their site either. Its a shame, cuz I'd like to do some x360 shopping (console and games) when I'm in Town.

Hey dudes... I don't show up in London a lot anyway because I live miles out, but I'll be moving even further away at the end of this month. Probably won't be around again except for meets. I'll try and make it down one Thursday soonish.

I was in London yesterday with a few people so I managed to drag them along to "Casino". It was the first time I had been there. After being underwhelmed by "Funland" I decided I might as well go check it out. I put most of my credits into Progear and Mushihimesama Futari. I only had one go on DDPDOJ as I could barely make out what was happening on the cab screen. Even though I already have Mushi and DDPDOJ on 360 it was great fun getting to play the original PCB's. I also got in a few games of Blazblue (didn't notice the continuum shift cab until I was leaving) and Tekken 6 with the people who were with me. I really hope this arcade flourishes and continues to provide people with the chance to play games that otherwise would be unavailable in what's left of modern arcades nowadays.

I'm glad you had a good time at Casino with your mates Rebel Ninja, some of the cabs are a bit dodgy but the selection of games really is excellent, and changes frequently. Much better than Funland or Namco Station.

Spadgy, I'll be down tomorrow evening as well, hopefully a bit earlier than usual. Anyone else planning on going?

The charismatic, dashing regulars are of course Casino's greatest asset.

I'll be down tonight for sure. Shame about DOJ. Now I'm done with Progear (again) I was really up for giving that some time. To be honest, if it's really unplayable in that cab, I might take it back home. Would that displease anybody? Is anybody playing regularly it on that cab? (I'm happy for it to stay of course).

I'm going to try and make it but I have a lot of stuff to do, I only just woke up, and I'm not in London... I knew I was tempting fate by saying I'd be down every day this week.

DOJ isn't really unplayable, I scored the same as I usually do the one credit I played, but even so I don't know that anyone would want to play it regularly on that cab.

Come on - it was great on the previous cab.

Great to loiter about with JDE last night. We had a grand time with Futari. That game is so awesome.

Spadgy, Dead Space 2 press event on April 21st (friday) do you want to meet there? Vegetarians still drink right, we can grab a beer or something and maybe head to Casino after?

Is there any chance you can find out before middle of next week? As much as I like the pampering, it's a bit pointless if I don't get to see mah boys. Maybe Rupert is going?

Watched some dude playing Futari, think i got to stage-4 on original, stage-2 on manic, and stage-1 ultra. Had a go and achieved the same result. CGI totally sucks to original Mushi.
