It does it on the standard 360 controller too. It's not like I absolutely have to do it but it's how I play the game, and it works for me.moozooh wrote:It's your responsibility to choose not to avoid a game glitch you are able to avoid. That's what you can do about it so far. Btw, does the stock x360 controller have the problem? If it doesn't you could still press four buttons on it if you'd like.
Also, pardon me if I don't get it, but why do you press fire, rapidfire, hyper, and boost switch all at the same time?
This process actually cuts out the complication of juggling normal/boost.What I usually do is this, Stage 1 for example: Always hold autofire (1), switch to boost, (which leads into) grab the hyper, and press shot, hyper and change (required within hyper) at the same time. This allows me to switch back to normal mode, activate the hyper, and change from autofire to laser all at the same time. It works, or at least, it should work.
@Taylor: Isn't Power style significantly more useful in 1.5 because it's easier to obtain hypers with? The current top replay and most top replays are also power style. I'm pretty sure power style also has the highest score on the dvd, as well.
