I got mine with a floor stand from this shop: http://www.av4home.co.uk/
They ship to any country in Europe... But expect to pay some big shipping charge because it's a heavy item!
Re: Rotatable TV wall mount
thx for the link, i'll take a closer look later
from the first glance it seems like they only deliver into the EU, which Switzerland isn't part of. But if necessary i could probably organize a shipping address in Germany or Ireland. And yeah, i expect some high shipping costs, but i want this as kind of a christmas present to myself, so i alotted about 500 CHF (with the current exchange rate about 400€) for the mount, so it should still be within bounds

Re: Rotatable TV wall mount
I have an Ergotron Neo-Flex HD Wall Mount Swing Arm:

It works good. Then I bought a VESA bracket expander to use it with a 40" TV that was under the weight limit.

Re: Rotatable TV wall mount
I ordered an Ergotron SIM90 Integration mount now. But because my TV doesn't fit on the mount (horizontal mounting pattern 660mm) i also had to order the Ergotron MMC 800 kit which should allow to mount the TV on the SIM90. Cost about 250€ with the current (really unfavorable) exchange rate between CHF and €.
now i need to wait a few weeks because they don't have that kind of mount on stock here and need to order it first, but that was to be expected.
Thanks a lot for your help and ideas guys, i'll update here when i got my mount and the TV is installed.

Re: Rotatable TV wall mount
I need a rotatable wall mount for 50".
Any ideas?
http://www.premiermounts.com/product.php?product=RFM
That´s is nice, but for that money I´ll just buy a second set and keep that permanently rotated!
Anything else that won´t break the bank? I live in Germany now.
I feel partially silly for looking for these things. I should build one (out of wood
) or with Mechano or something

What the world needs is something like Meccano, but stronger. I also want to create a racing seat for racing games

Re: Rotatable TV wall mount
I'm actually going to do this myself because I won't have space in my new apartment for a cabinet build...sigh. Has anyone had any luck with this? I have a 40" LCD compatible with a 400 x 200 Vesa mounting standard.
Re: Rotatable TV wall mount
well, all i can say is that i'm happy with my setup (see a few posts above). just make sure you can easily reach the side of your TV because you'll have to remove a "screw" (sorry, don't know the right word, even in german. it's a screw with a large knob so you can easily turn it using your hand), turn the TV and then put in the screw again. and it obviously is on the back of the TV so you must be able to easily reach that. the whole process takes about 30 seconds.
one other point: the mount i use can rotate a bit more than 90°, maybe about 100° to 110°. This has the advantage that it doesn't matter if the mount isn't installed perfectly horizontal, but has the disadvantage that there aren't just to positions, so you often need to correct it after rotating the TV. you can rotate it a few degrees without removing the screw though, so these corrections aren't too troublesome.
