Some call you...Tim?
Yes... or Timothy by the rare family member. I get that quote alot :-)
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I'll be out of town (TX), so maybe next time. I'd be happy to bring some PCBs with me.

I got to meet up for a little bit and play some Mushihimesama Futari. It made me happy. Actually, both made me happy.

The con was fun too - I hadn't been to Animazement before and it was quite nice.

Just wanted to give this thread a bump and update for this years MAGfest..... it's coming up again and this year we'll have Mushi Futari BL and Muchi Muchi Pork added to list of cave titles there. Check the 1st post for a more complete list.

There will be more than what's listed PCB wise but I'll have to try and get the others to come on here and mention what they are dragging along.

It was great meeting you guys at magfest. I finally (FINALLY!) got to play muchi pork. Freakin' loved it. Thanks for putting it in. If I had an extra day I would have brought you some Ibara BL :P

I'd love to do an event with you guys some time, why can't there just be an arcade convention nearby... Screw the anime and colsone / PC gaming stuff.

Preach it brother. If we was over in Europe, ArcadeOtaku ran Insert Coin last year. Man! So much candy!

MMP is a seriously great game. I loved playing it (I got in probably 3-4 hours and scored 22m), thanks so much for putting that up. And the other stuff too, even if I only put in a few credits each on Dogyuun, Futari BL, Galuda II and Batrider.

Yeah, echoing this... had a great time last year, going to try to be present for the whole thing this time. I should also be running some of the 360 ports (among other things) wherever console gaming will be - no ghetto tate'd LCDs this time, hopefully.

Yeah, we have some new stuff also.

Here is the important stuff on PCB... we'll have others also not on the list.

DDP : DFK 1.5
Futari BL
Ibara BL
Muchi Pork
Mushi
Ibara
Galuda 2
Dangun Feveron
Batrider
Guwange
ESP Rade
Raiden Fighters 1 and 2
Progear
Osman
Pink Sweets
Bakraid
Geregga
Border Down
Ikaruga
Cannon Dancer

And other stuff.... I got a samurai showdown 3 with"fixed hit detection". I really like 3 and want a chance to play this "fixed" version with other folks on the other end.

Please bring PCBs if you have them. Bring on the 360 : Ketsui, Deathsmiles and.... well I guess those two since we won't have PCBs of them.

Any chance of me being able to play Metal Slug in the morning before I leave? Someone had the PS2 anthology version but the lag is so bad on that I'm only really good at it. It was cool to see all the Cave stuff and I got pretty decent with a stick on the ST machine (I was the Dee Jay player with the inappropriately skullified baseball cap.)

It was held in Alexandria, VA, nowhere near NC.

Hope everyone there had a good time! My thanks to you all for helping finish all the grind achievements in Ketsui =p

oh, I thought I read somewhere in the thread about a shmup meet in NC, Salem, or Raleigh, I don't remember. Then I skipped to the end and assumed the last one was in the same place. My bad. Either way, Alexandria isn't too far. I'll keep an eye out for next years if there is one.
