Eyedea was, in my opinion, one of the best rappers to come out in like ten years. Dude just destroyed stuff verbally, and when teamed up with Abilities they just were amazing. E+A is a great record, and I literally just picked up their newest album this weekend and only to have my jaw drop due to how abstract and different the whole thing is. Now this goes and happens.
Argh, great rapper. I saw him and Abilities at Soundset 2010 and at a few shows prior... very not cool.
