Got #1 for hardcore and super speed. Fewer waves than Mike, but I'm guessing he doesn't/didn't use bombs to score.
Congrats! I've been trying to top Mike in Super Speed and have been getting pretty close. I personally like Super Speed mode the best. I'll look for your score this weekend.

I've noticed I score higher for fewer waves than Mike too. There are a lot of points to be had if you use bombs and other methods to destroy blocks. Bit of a trade-off though, if you're trying to score you might leave yourself in a position where you crash and die.
One other gotcha... version 1.0 of Hypership (the current version is 1.1 which fixed that issue and some other things) had a bug with the Top Speeds. I don't believe my Top Speed on my highest score is really accurate nor are several other on the high scores list. Going forward they'll all be fine though.
FYI the online high scores (in case you didn't know already) for XBLIG aren't perfect or ideal really... because we cannot access outside servers and Microsoft doesn't give us access to their Leaderboard system, we have to fake it with Peer to Peer sharing. So depending on who's online will depend on which scores and how many you can get. I leave my Xbox on a lot because I've got a lot of scores and want to make sure there is always someone to share with, but Xbox Live is a bit weird at times, even though two people are in the US for example, they cannot always see each other. If there are lots of people sharing, this isn't an issue but if there are just a few, sharing doesn't always work so hard.
I'm working on a PC port of Hypership (hopefully going to get it onto Steam) and that version should have a true client / server high scores system that will be much more effective.
