"Shooting Gameside Vol. 1" Magazine Arrived! - Pics Inside!

Post by rancor »

Literally received this from the postman 4 minutes ago. Snapped a few pics and am posting them now - It looks awesome!

Quite small, but 160 pages with NO ADS!!

My pre-orders have sold out - If you ordered one from me before, it's shipping on monday. I will be receiving more on Monday, and those will ship on Thursday.
Also the price was reduced and partial refunds were issued to those who pre-ordered. Price on my site is $31.00 shipped, which is $4.00 less than NCSX or Playasia.

ANYHOW enough shop-talk -

On to the pics:

I didn't agree with what you were charging, but nice pics there.

It's a shame as it seems other retailers are charging out the ass for this too, which I didn't expect, so looks like I won't be buying it. I'd rather spend the dough on a real art book.

Let's not go down that road again, the dude can charge whatever he wants, right?

On topic, the mag looks sweet, looking forward to getting my copy so I can look at all the... pretty pictures.

I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

Wow, how many issues could there be of this, considering how much this issue seems to cover? Looks very nice.

Are you fucking stupid?

I just said I wasn't cool with his prices, but respect on the pics.

No one is trying to start anything here. Go spam up another thread, "skykid."

Next person who so much as mentions the "price" thing gets an immediate temp-ban recommendation from me, at the VERY least. Drop it.

It is indeed nice to see such Raizing games mentioned in a magazine. I have interest.

Ok, someone start translating the Raizing part pretty please? :P

Oh, and the doujin one too. Can't believe the Aclla dudes made it to the magazine too... So the game I got in Comiket really is the full release. Interesting.

Really tempted to get this... argh, I think I should just start learning japanese one day.

BTW I just noticed how small that mag is, next to the sufami pad it looks like a pocket atlas. The only draw back to this is scanning anything would look like shit as the source is so small.

I'm not gonna get into this again, but just know that other retailers:

A) Aren't active in these forums. Who knows if you can actually contact a real person when ordering.

B) Most likely haven't pressed the "donate" button in the top right corner of this page.

If you have a chance, support the scene.
I buy from other retailers that use this forum such as Lordstar and NG:DEV.
However, it's ultimately your decision who you do business with.
