Horrible news. I loved reading his posts. His sense of humor I thought was great. A great loss to the shmup community.

This is just super depressing.
Now I deeply regret that I never made an introduction post to Self-Introduction Thread...

Rest in peace.

Agreed, he made the intro thread worthwhile. His engrish posts made a great welcome to a place that can seem rather intimidating and elitist from the outside . RIP ROBOTRON.

His image in the show yourself thread was hilarious. The man had a wicked good sense of humor. We'll miss you, man. RIP.

IIRC he's been in poor health for the last few years, don't know the details though.
He's been sick for a long while. I know he was scheduled to have surgery soon, but seemed to be doing well as far as I know. Ubersaurus said, he was literally there with him last night playing games and making plans to get his new gaming room all set up, as he had just recently moved. He had a "classic gaming night" he was thinking about doing which I was really looking forward to, since it's been quite a while since I'd seen him. Totally unexpected and everyone's pretty much in shock.

To paraphrase ROBOTRON, the young locust comes for us all.

Do not fear pantssoiling youth! The memory of a fine day odors the room finely, if you grasp the reminiscent.

Robotron's good feelings were infections, we should all try to keep his spirits current with us.

RIP Buddy! Another Michigander feels regret at never meeting you in the metal.

This is terrible!!

I keep a text file in my documents folder where I copy and paste things / quotes that I think are really funny.
The last quote I pasted is from him:
"The healthy pulling of my underwear and my mouth it is tightened!"
I don't know why, but that really made me lol...
He was an integral part of the shmups welcoming community and had a great online personality.

We'll miss you Robotron - A great guy who never had a bad word for anyone - R.I.P.

RIP, dude. I'll light up some Grunts for ya.

So sudden for many of us here... anyone other than ubersaurus know him personally?

I remember how I would get up in the morning, see a ROBOTRON welcome post, and think to myself "I had better put some pants on for this first".

Life is short, shorter for some. Life can be tough too, and tougher for some others. I don't know much but from what I read ROBOTRON had some hardships that most of us are lucky to never have had, yet he managed to bring a unique flavour and energy to this forum. Let's move through our own hardships following his example. RIP, always in our hearts.

That's really sad news. I've yet to read an introduction post made by him that didn't crack me up. Even though I never met him I'll remember him and his personality on these forums for a long, long time. RIP man.
