What is the BEST computer motherboard to buy for gaming? I am considering building my own gaming PC and I wanted some suggestions on what is the best motherboard to get for gaming. I pretty much want a motherboard that has the capabilities to allow me to play any PC game. I prefer answers by professional or experienced users who have built their own PC's please. Suggestions and links to sites or images of motherboards would be helpful...thanks.

Welcome to the forums.
Most people here use their pc for less demanding things like mame and various doujin shmups so you might not find as much knowledge on cutting edge gear like you might on a pc fps gaming forum.
I don't think there's a one BEST mobo out there. Generally, as long as it has a new chipset and supports xfire or sli then you should be fine so long as you buy the right hardware to make use of it.
One tip is to make sure there's a good amount of space between the ram slots and the cpu seat. If you're going for some over the top hardware you'll want a bigger heatsink on that cpu, but not want it to cover some ram slots like mine does >_<.
Check out ncix or new egg and look at the reviews for anything over the $200 line.

I don't know about the AMD side, but probably the best Intel motherboards currently are based on the X58 chipset - so it will support the meanest Core i7 processors on the LGA1366 socket and triple-channel memory access, and multi-way Crossfire or SLI if you plan on doing that. Also you'll probably want to go for a full ATX size rather than one of the smaller variants if you want to run multi-GPU.
However, I would add that to "play any PC game", the motherboard probably plays less of a role than the video card itself, aside from having multi-GPU support. Plenty of mid-range motherboards should do just fine with a monster single GPU or dual GPU setup.
But, it sounds like you have money to throw at it, so you might as well go for the best you can buy.
