Sorry chaps, I was all dressed up (in my melted Lordstar Cave shirt) but I wasn't feeling too great and, on the way to the door, decided that being ill on the train would be something of a faux pas. Looks like you had a great time without me mumbling sarcastic quips anyway, though!
Edit: Holy shit Hello Kitty Evisu jeans.

Then there's Gordon the Drunk (Casino regular), who returned from Hackney a while back with massive bandages on both forearms, where he'd thrown his arms up to defend his face as a Hackney mugger tried to slash it.
Otherwise the place is fine.
Except their bullets, which sometimes don't keep themselves to themselves and OFF girls in pizza joints.Sure, there is trouble makers, but unlike Brixton/New Cross/Peckham/Brockley (other places I've lived) they keep themselves to themselves.

We've just had very different experiences I guess. East London's a big area too.DEL wrote: Otherwise the place is fine.
It's tragic what happened to that girl, but those freak incedents happen all over the place, from Hackney to Kensington to rural towns. I've been a victim of small crime in Hackney (bike stolen), but still I love the place, and for every shitty crim there's 10,000 friendly people. From the perspective of living here, the sense of community and friendliness is great.
It's also worth baring in mind the ongoing gentrification, and the effect of the proximity of City on how nice places like Shoreditch, Brick lane and Hoxton are becoming.
You know what the press are like with reality. Hell, that fox incident happened down the road from me, and the press treated it like lions are running wild.
If there are routine gun battles, they're obviously spec-ed out with silencers and other high-end stealth gear. I've never heard a pop!

I felt safew walking around yours at night. If your stupid enuogh to be standing around places for too long like kebaba shops where rude boys hang out then the chances of you getting hit by a stay bullet are going to increas a whole bunch.
