Re: Catherine (PS3/360) ATLUS
I just heard about this today and have to admit I have no clue what to make of it. I know it's not a SMT game, but I'm all for dumping the kids/school setting from those persona games and going for something a bit edgier.

Ha, I love the super pervy poster. Definitely bodes well for the feel of the game (Y)

So that's who that guy was in Persona 3 Portable. Anyway, I'll be buying this as soon as possible since I'm a huge fan. Got all of the Persona and SMT series in both languages.
Would be nice to know if this is their substitute for Persona 5 though. How can they expand on Persona 3? Everyone's either dead or gone.

Yeah just heard about this too and well, I'm really intrigued - patiently waiting for a video to check out "gameplay" and hoping that it's not a bog-standard adventure-game.

More news!! So it seems the game won't be a "Role playing game" but a horror themed "action adventure". Also the developers are preparing for a future HD Persona by developing Catherine first, which is around 80% complete at the moment.

Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

Hawt.
After watching that trailer I have my doubts that it's gonna see a release outside melon-pan land.

I bet it'll be localized, the western SMT fanbase is really strong.
I also forgot to mention that the music is being composed by Shoji Meguro again. The art designers are from Persona 3 AND 4, and the director did Nocturne, Persona 3 and Persona 4. This can't fail, this game is going to be incredible.

Looks awesome and I'm glad to see the Persona team doing something different. I've got a near 100% chance of picking this one up.

Call me shallow but I'm a sucker for when they actually full-voice games like this. It makes the whole thing just feel better.

From Famitsu360:

> Action part is not like walking around and setting up flags, also nothing to do with jumping and shooting something. It is more like an action puzzle game. (also wall climbing?)
> There are many patterns to solving puzzles. Not just one way.
> Gameplay feeling is close to old games (Famicom/NES) where, the more you play, the better you become at the game.
> There is a "Retry" feature.
> Depends on how you speak, Vince's dialogue will change (like SMT's Law and Chaos) How he muttering/speak to self will be decided by that factor.
> More suitable to 30~40 years old gamer. As well as for play alone when all other family are in sleep, with grin on your face ensured.

This actually sounds really interesting. And I love the aesthetics, so that certainly doesn't hurt.

The subtitles for the director/character designer/composer/artist are all wrong.cj iwakura wrote:Don't think I posted this here, but I've subbed(annotated) the trailer:

I'd recommend subtitling the rap if you can, since it seems to directly link itself to the game.

I've never played any of the Persona games-I'm not quite sure if I would even like them, but this game looks amazing.

Yeah, good luck with that. It's nigh incomprehensible.I'd recommend subtitling the rap if you can, since it seems to directly link itself to the game.
There was only one lyric I could understand.

Multiple endings confirmed and the players actions determine what happens to Vincent.
