Can't see me bettering that score.
It's not a bad game but I won't be going back to it after this STGT.

The more I play this game the more I start liking it.
Shame on you if you are giving up after 2 days.
It's all a bit of fun...

Once I figured out how the game works, it's pretty fun.
holydiver42 - The Team With No Name - 323,400 - 1-4 - MAME
Will probably get some more time later in the week.

I can't leave this alone. The worst part is having to wait for 10 minutes for the high score table to come up. That's really annoying

So what are the symbols on the right? Like zodiac signs or something?

Pretty much. Every time you rank in, you put in your initials, your gender, and your zodiac sign and you get a little fortune.Octopod wrote:So what are the symbols on the right? Like zodiac signs or something?
The fortune at the end is just for kicks and has no impact on your score.

Okay, sorry for not updating, but I was really tired on Monday and swamped the entirety of today (Tuesday).
Anyway, thread updated. The dynamic scoreboard is not changed to reflect the new week yet, because I don't have the time for updating it right now

Really, i dislike this game. I dislike it a fucking lot. Every single credit thrown into it seems like a stinging pain in my virtual purse.
And I cannot stand Flint and his damn mechanics, nor can I stand the damn mechanics of the game. It did not want to run and was complaining about version errors in the beginning.
I should have seen that as the sign it was and just not go any step further...

They probably have a big blue cart thing (looks a bit like an American shopping cart) that you load the balls into for washing after a kid loses control of their bladder in the ball pit. They probably run the machine once a week.Aru-san wrote:Level 2 makes me wanna go to Chuck E. Cheese's for some reason.

Thanks Aru-san. I figured that was the case but I was curious. So are they Chinese zodiac signs or western or does Japan have its own that I am unfamiliar with?Aru-san wrote:Pretty much. As luck would have it, I played quite a bit of Xexex this year. I'll include a pic with my final submission.

Had a nasty cheap death on the 1-5 boss (the rectangle block infront on the weak points insta killed me the moment it came "alive")
Had 2 nasty cheap deaths on the asteroid section on 1-6.
Hate this nasty cheap game!

Well this is just embarrassing
DoubleThink - The Team With No Name - 380,300 - 1-3 - MAME
Firstly what the hell is up with some of these hitboxes? Secondly I'm considering just treating this like Varth, because the tentacle monster needs so much babysitting to avoid it sitting uselessly at the back of the screen, but I'll watch the superplay first.
I like stage 2 though. The music and motif remind me of Mischief Makers for some reason.
