I actually used to have the Microvision thing. The games are very simplistic with blocky graphics, but some of them are fun to play. That Star Trek game is an Air Sea Battle clone, if I remember correctly. I love retro pictures!

I have the Galaxian & Pac-Man. My brother used to have one of those football games. I had a racer (with cars as LED dashes) where you just dodge cars coming your way in 3 lanes. It's not shown here. Good times.

this looks nothing like a classic french arcade, arcades are supposed to be dark. and where are my jeutel and karateko cabs?
it's hard to believe now how many arcades and cafes with cabs (some with about ten cabs and 5 pinballs!) there was in a 40 000 inhabitants city.
one of the cafe had simultaneously shinobi, twin cobra, monsterland, pow, splatterhouse, golden axe, dragonninja, and exerion, plus 4 pinballs pinbot, ransom, and 2 others i can't remember. can you imagine that today?
there were also 2 big arcades (all the classics, a vindicator machine, dragon spirit and saber, rolling thunder, etc.. and all the pinballs) and a small one, and almost all working class cafes, train station bars, etc had at least one cab or one pinball.

Those bring back memories *sniff*

I have really come to love the '70s retro-future look, mainly because I remember when it did seem really futuristic. Like watching old episodes of Space 1999, or standing in line for Space Mountain at Disneyworld (I sure hope they haven't changed it in there).
