The sticks are still stock, and work great, but I want to replace them as long as I'm fixing this cab up. Looks like seimitsu ls-32's are in it now...without the mounting plate...the screws just go in the CP from the top right into the dark blue plastic section of the stick assembly.
I's love to have a JLF on one side and an ls-56 on the other but I can't figure out how to mount without drilling more holes in the CP (it's old and has seen aparrently many drills)...the Street Fighter overlay covers many holes...BUT none that fit "modern" joysticks...I don;t have welding tools or i'd mount an S plate.
I'd LOVE to buy a brand new CP, but cannot locate one \ any.. Any suggestions?
I've looked at River Service, but shipping is probably a bitch.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Volume Control \ Original CP stick options on Aero Cab
I'm a noob.
Volume is on the board
Hrm....now that that's cleared up. I really DO need help with the CP...so at least I've got that.

Re: Original CP stick options on Aero Cab
You need a Sanwa non-flat mounting plate for both. For the LS-56 you will need to drill four mounting holes on the plate.Matskat wrote:I's love to have a JLF on one side and an ls-56 on the other
Re: Original CP stick options on Aero Cab
Would that be an "s" plate?
I think I know what you mean though. THANKS!

Re: Original CP stick options on Aero Cab
Alright. I think I have a plan.
The CP on my cab is in nasty shape...I've already swapped all the buttons and sticks...fixed some paint nics and everything..
But this Street Fighter Vinyl overlay is UGLY. I want an original CP or a re-pro but that costs money and I'll have to wait on shipping from RIver Service. SO, what I'm gonna do is remove the CP - scrape off the ugly vinyl...sand + burnish doen to raw metal land see how it looks...if it's cool looking , I'll spray on an enamel clear coat and finished - if it looks like ass I'll print some graphics and put 'em under plexiglass and mount everything back up.
Anybody have experience with this? Look ok?
I'll take suggestions, as I'm very new to this stuff (but learning fast).

Re: Original CP stick options on Aero Cab
If you have the Street Fighter panel then go ahead and strip/sand/paint it. It'll look better for sure. You should also check out http://forum.arcadeotaku.com/ as it's an awesome source for information about candy cabinets in general.
