The Human Centipede - (WARNING - Sick and Twisted)

Post by neorichieb1971 »

I go to other forums where I found a thread about this movie. I started to read the premise of the movie where my jaw dropped. Instead of being a movie about a giant centipede bug or another feeble cash in from an old videogame, its your worst nightmare come true.
Internationally respected Siamese twin surgeon Dr. Josef Heiter has a demented vision for mankind’s future existence. He wants to remove human beings’ kneecaps so they have to exist on all fours and then surgically graft them mouth-to-anus to form a centipede chain. When two stranded female Americans arrive at his luxury home-cum-hospital looking for help, his long-gestating plan swiftly moves into chilling action with a shocking force. Kidnapping a third Japanese male tourist he begins the tissue matches, teeth removal and buttock moulding to create his triplet creature…

Its rather original material. Next time you think about a piece of ass, think CENTIPEDE!

LMAO!

Excellent stuff.

Reminds me of Blind Beast in depravity. Highly recommended.

Sounds superb.

It'll be complete shite, but the premise is worth a watch alone :)

Yeah, I saw this was showing at the FrightFest in London, but I elected against seeing it, although I was suprised to see that the most fucked up movie of the festival wasn't Japanese for once  Instead, I got tickets to see 'The Hills Run Red', which looks like a throwback to the gory slasher movies of old and 'I Sell The Dead', which is a dark comedy about graverobbers. Also might go and see 'Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl' if I can convince any of my mates to go, but i'll probably have a hard time convincing them after exposing them to Tokyo Gore Police

Shouldn't the thread topic be changed to "The Human Centipede" rather than just "Centipede - The Movie", neorichieb1971?

It does sound misleading and I thought that it originally had something to do with Atari Games beloved arcade classic of the same name. If you stop to ponder the imagery associated with this demented film, what the first victim eats, will affect both the second & third victim eventually. The creator(s) surely has good taste in demented concepts for the horror film genre. It is basically horror fans making films for the horror fans -- support them and they'll continue to make more. ^_~

The hybrid sci-fi/horror flim by the name of Naked Lunch has a centipede creature featured as well. ^_~

Done. I must admit I didn't see the whole title. The imagery of the pics was my main priority at the time.

Just watched it. Overhyped. Better than Martyrs which sits squarely in the same genre, but marred by poor acting and gaping plot holes - not that the story takes centre stage in any way.

Weak and boring. Nothing happens during the movie at all. I bet the filmakers just thought "lets do a movie with this disturbing idea" and they did. They did however fail to make a movie around the idea and rather just did a 1.5 hour graphic demonstration of three people sown onto each others asses.

It's like those small out-of-context reviews on STV releases. :D

The screencaps from that one article just make it look like some people put their heads close to each other. Weak. I was expecting something like fifteen pairs of legs with nothing above the torso...now THAT would be a human centipede (and what I was expecting).

No way, man, the trailer says it's "100% medically accurate".

A steelbook is planned by the studio. Only available on the website.

The normal version of the blu ray will be a green case. So if you buy it and it sits on your shelf your friends will immediately pick it up as its green and say "Oh whats this" with a curious look on their faces. It better not be your mom, who will ask "whats this about then son?" "Oh its about pooping in the mouths of others behind you"

Saw this with a friend of mine some weeks ago. This is by far the worst (also most funny) horroflick I've ever seen. Nothing and I mean absolutely nothing makes sense, the characters act like they are morons, especially the asian guy at the end. Its just a great 90minute long WTF-moment.

Though I really digged the shot where the doc stands in the shattered window, wearing sunglasses and trying to look all badass.

Just wait for the sequel, it will include a centipede made of twelve humans.

The difference between twelve and fifteen pairs is as many legs as this movie had all together. Pfft, amateurs.

Not seen this film and dont intend to.

It does stir the dark side of the human psyche though, reminds me of the truly horrifying pointless wartime human experiments conducted by the Japanese Army Unit 731.
