Any way to add additional filters to Visual Boy Advance?

The quality is too low in "TV mode", and "scanlines" is way too dark. Any way to plug in filters from others emulators or whatever, or recompile the application? Windows XP.

Have you used VBA-M, it's video options are far nicer than those of normal vba. http://sourceforge.net/projects/vbam/
