anyone play em? I'm not too much of a fan of DDR. much rather play some PIU or ITG.
andamiro recently released PIU Fiesta which has over 1,600 charts to it's very open minded song list. anyone get a chance to play this yet?

I play them, I have some videos on my youtube.
I had the chance to play Fiesta about two weeks ago. I'm only interested in playing really hard stuff, but I enjoyed what I played. I wish Andamiro would make really difficult charts, though; the charts they're making aren't hard enough. They maybe should add back Rush mode from Extra too. Quest World seems nice like World Max if you're into that thing, but it's really too bad they didn't give each of the "quests" or whatever you want to call them a different name. The interface is nice, same with the addition of the modifier menu.

Nope, hellacious and I are different people.
I tried all the new hard stuff on Fiesta 20 and above (X-Tree, Sorceress Elise, Vacuum, Arirang, Phantom Intermezzo), I want something harder.

I used to play DDR back in the day, but I was never very good. Regardless, now that I no longer live in an apartment, I was thinking about getting a metal pad. Does anybody know who still makes them? It looks like Cobalt Flux is still around, but I wasn't sure what's the best these days, especially now that DDR is dead AFAIK.
Re: tham dance games...
i'm sure there are a few things in quest mode that will trip you up once or twice. I'm still stuck in world tour on NX, and am not enjoying it's cheap trickery. and by cheap i mean genius

I just want to move fast. If it's something like get 3goods, 2bads, and a miss on a chart, sure, that might trip me up depending on other variables (maybe not, though), but that's not the skill I'm interested in. : )
Davey: I'm not really sure nowadays, I've managed to play hard stuff on a Cobalt Flux fine but it doesn't feel like the arcade because of the design. It's fine enough to play on anyway, but it depends on what you're looking for. I've heard generally bad things about any TX series pads (some of the stuff you'll find on ebay). Blueshark is supposedly decent but I've never played on one. I haven't kept up with all that stuff in a while, but I'd recommend looking at something like ddrfreak or bemanistyle for people's opinions or reviews.

Too bad United Game Artists never got to make Space Channel 5 Trio for 3 player dance-mat action.

Last time I checked DDRFreak, each page load took like 10 minutes.sikraiken wrote:I haven't kept up with all that stuff in a while, but I'd recommend looking at something like ddrfreak or bemanistyle for people's opinions or reviews.

I wouldn't call what most people do in dance games "dancing."UnscathedFlyingObject wrote:Games, hah.

One time at the arcade, some random mom asked me if people dance like that at the clubs.
