Bad bad score for 2-1. Missed 2 gem heads and Technical Bonus on 1-3 :x

I might start playing this again, dunno.

I really hope the port will be done well, although I can play the PCB. This game deserved it. So please... :!:

Been practising this on and off for the past 2 weeks trying to get back into it ready for the ps2 release.

Ex_Mosquito // 1,403,400 // 2-2 // PCB

Managed to 1-life it into 2-1 and get Technical bonus on the first 6 bosses, but sadly missed a gem-head(Coin-head?) on 1-6. Things fell apart on 2-1 and i entered 2-2 with no lives an 1 bomb. :x

I'll just bring up the rear here...

Ghegs // 346,000 // Quaid // 1-4

I'm just proud of that run 'cause it was the first time I managed to TB a boss outside practice without dying in the process.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Cigs you suck :) I'm totally happy if I make it to level 5 with a spare guy :)

Landshark // 661,000 // Quaid // 1-5

I just can't get the hang of the boss. I make it through the first few patterns, the he does this star pattern and shoots all this other shit out and I die. I'm gonna break my fingers soon if they don't start listening to me when I tell them to bomb. The middle one usually responds though.

How do you get so many points by level 5?

i try to shoot only with the dragon and collect as many golden coins as possible. also, i got all 4 technical boni.

with this 720k run, i had a very positive stage oder and ended at the 5th boss (dying stupidly).

lfo

p.s.: supaT has even more as i have in the 5th stage.

The 4th Boss was too heavy for the first time.

Not that much of an improvement:

aesthetik // 566,100 // Quaid // 1-5 (PCB)

Man, you really need to stay ahead on 1-5 otherwise you get in trouble REAL fast....and that score included missing a coinhead in 1-4. Back to playing...

Same here... There must be some more points to get in this stage. Rob is also in 1-6 and got a whopping 120k more.

Btw: Where did you die in 1-6? After or before eyes?

i finally got psikyo vol.3, great game.
it looks like it's all about being well placed to use the dragon shoot and killing middle enemies fast or you're screwed.

This game pisses me off. I get too greedy with the dragon trying to make coins and end up dying and then get frustrated. But if I'm not constantly getting gold coins I can't compete with the score.

My level 5 score blows.

OK, I know this score sucks, but it's not so terrible for only 10 hours of play. I'm just starting to get familiar with how to summon the coin heads and how to get the technical bonuses. I think on this run I missed them all. :x

professor ganson // 287,300 // 1-4 // Ian

Better scores to come soon, I hope.

Slight improvement:

professor ganson // 309,800 // 1-4 // Ian

I used to think that the desert level is the most difficult of the first four; now I'm finding that mushroom one the hardest. When I get it fourth, I'm out of luck. Getting to 1-5 feels very doable--- can't wait to see what it's like! I suppose once you get there on one credit it's opened for practice.
