New Record:
PlayStation 2 - Arcade Mode
Sturmvogel Prime - ALL - 709,020,796 - Faintear - ON
Image

Another tip for hi-scoring:
The second form of the first boss consists in throwing you little "Mines" that shoot, destroy the mines, but concentrate on holding the fire button (release it when the bonus items are close to the bottom of the screen) and trying not destroying the boss, it takes practice but it's possible to reach a 12,000 Item bonus in stage 1 without getting hit. This tip only works for Faintear.

- Can anyone get a higher score than that?

New Record in Story Mode on Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced

PlayStation 2 - Story Mode
Sturmvogel Prime - ALL, 769,303,134 - Faintear - ON

I dare you to break that record!

Here's the final hint and most important for Hi-scoring: Set both Life and Bomb Stock to 5, then the Extend Type must be on "25,000,000 Pts. Every", this tip is helpful for Exelica and Crueltear, and a vital requirement for Faintear, and it can't be considered a cheat since this doesn't make you invincible.

The rules state default settings.

Changing lives/bombs kinda breaks that.

I can't accept that score if it was made on different life/extend settings. You may not consider it a cheat but it still means that you're playing a different game than the other people who have submitted scores to this thread, and I have to make sure that everyone has a level playing field. I know that you've put a lot of time into the game and are quite skillful at it, how about submitting a score with the options at default settings and show us what you can do? :)

Not sure if this is still possibly going to be updated. It has been a long time apparantly, but then the topic creator seems to be around.

Xbox 360 Live Arcade

Phoenixma- All- 143,208,963- Crueltear - On

I may try to improve this sometime as I still have parts that I just bomb automatically and I missed all over the place from Stage 4 boss- final boss.

To go "full-Plank" - colloquial - To experience disproportionate levels of frustration as a result of resistance to completing a task. Those who go "full-Plank" very rarely recover.

I thought you said that THE was your favorite bullet hell game. Just quit the genre, dude - it's clear that you don't like any titles because they're all too difficult. At the very least, take this to your designated "BAWWWWWW SHMUPS ARE ALL TO HARD BECAUSE THEY REQUIRE CONCENTRATION" thread.

Or just, you know, suck it up and post your scores.

Nope, he complained again about how the game was impossible since you were bound to make mistakes, blah de blah, you know the drill.

No scores were posted unfortunately.

I'll go get my score if It'll make you happy. I actually got past the first extend tonight which I found utterly hilarious having never got anywhere near it before.

Yes. I finish the first level with about 24M. That's where most of my score comes from really.

Think I died on stage 2 in some ridiculous way but still got a few of the boss forms. No missed 3 but didn't have enough items to trigger the 2nd Faintear encounter, and got most of the way through 4.

Are the 360 and DC/ARC version scores comparable?

I've got a superplay where the guy scores 1.13M on the intro to stage 1, and ends it with 133.7M after bonuses.

I know that the 360 version doesn't have the multiplier under the item count which I think is the weight if I remember correctly, but I see the 360 version still credits a weight bonus at the end of the round. Let's forget the 133M at the end of the round and talk about the 1.13M after the intro. I can only get about 300K copying what he does... I assume there is a reason? (other than "you suck noob")

Still can't get the Feintear 3rd level fight. Managed to get the final boss form in practice once and died trying to copy what I'd seen in above superplay. I'm sure I managed it on the DC before.
