So my question is this. What is causing the picture to split like that??? Is it because the 360 outputs everything in progressive scan and bc my TV only accepts 480i input, the result is the scrambled picture??? If that is the case, then is there a solution to this that is cheap and easy. I heard of the extron emotia but I really don't know if it will help in this situation. I know it de-interlaces the picture but I don't really know what that actually means. All i know is that it gives scanlines, beautiful scanlines on HDTV and computer monitor when used with an XRGB. =P However, I am using an older CRT TV with component input so it's different. Anyway, I need to know before investing 100+ dollars to buy an emotia, which is quite a lot of money to me. All this in the name of scanlines.

I also have another question. I have an NEC professional monitor that is capable of low resolution display but don't know how to use the 5-BNC input. It works fine with the VGA input but when I connect my XBOX 360 into my XRGB-2+ as a pass through and output that with a VGA to 5-BNC cable to the monitor, there is no picture. I did that with my HP A7217A monitor, and it works fine. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to do to make it work on the NEC monitor. Again, will an extron emotia save the day in this situation??? Thanx.
